Good Sunday morning from Sly Fox Stables!

Robert Frost once wrote of a *“hushed October morning mild,”* and we couldn't think of a better way to welcome this beautiful autumn Sunday. 🍁

☀️ **This week's edition features:**

🐴 The horses embracing sweater weather while maintaining their strict breakfast expectations.

🦚 Our VP of Looking Important continuing his tireless commitment to being admired.

🐔 The Chicken Committee holding another highly productive meeting near the food.

🦊 Mr. Redd, CEO, sharing some thoughtful autumn wisdom before disappearing for another coffee break.

🌤️ And Mother Nature delivering a crisp **62° Sunday**, followed by some lovely fall weather throughout the week!

Grab your coffee, find a sunny spot, and catch up on the latest happenings around the farm. ☕🍂

Sometimes the best part of Sunday is simply slowing down long enough to enjoy it.

🦊🍽️ **SLY FOX SUPPER CLUB**
🥩 **SIZZLING GARLIC BUTTER STEAK BITES!** 🧄🧈

Some dinners don't need a reservation. They just need a hot skillet, plenty of garlic butter, and somebody willing to do the dishes! 😂

Today's Supper Club special is all about juicy, golden-seared steak bites tossed in rich, sizzling garlic butter and finished with fresh parsley.

**⏱️ Cook time: Approximately 15 minutes**, plus 15–20 minutes to let the steak sit before cooking.

**🛒 THE SHOPPING LIST**
🥩 1 lb sirloin, ribeye, or New York strip

🧂 1 tsp salt

🌶️ ½ tsp freshly ground black pepper

🫒 2 tbsp olive oil

🧈 3 tbsp unsalted butter

🧄 4 cloves garlic, minced

🌿 2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped

🔥 Optional: Pinch of red pepper flakes

**👩‍🍳 LET'S GET SIZZLING!**

**1️⃣ Prep that steak!**
Let the steak sit out for 15–20 minutes, then cut into 1–1½-inch cubes. Pat completely dry with paper towels and season with salt and pepper.

**2️⃣ Fire up the skillet!**
Heat a cast-iron skillet over medium-high heat for 2–3 minutes. Add olive oil and wait until it shimmers.

**3️⃣ Get that golden crust!**
Add steak in a single layer, leaving room between pieces. Sear approximately 2 minutes per side, working in batches if necessary. Transfer to a plate.

**4️⃣ Bring on the garlic butter!**
Reduce heat to medium. Add butter and minced garlic to the skillet, stirring for 30–45 seconds until fragrant. Don't let that garlic burn!

**5️⃣ The grand finale!**
Return steak and its juices to the skillet. Toss with parsley, optional red pepper flakes, and all that glorious garlic butter.

Plate, garnish with extra parsley, and spoon that buttery goodness over the top!

🦊 **MR. REDD'S KITCHEN WISDOM:**
"Never overcrowd the skillet. Greatness needs room to develop a crust."

And if somebody asks what's for dinner, just tell them you've opened a steakhouse. Reservations are limited. 😂

🥖 Serve with crusty bread, mashed potatoes, rice, or roasted vegetables. A little squeeze of lemon is delicious, too!

🤍 Riding Lessons (All Experience Levels)

Some start with a little nervousness. Some arrive ready to conquer the world.

And some discover that the horse has an entirely different plan. 😂

That's the beauty of riding lessons. Every time you step into the saddle, there's something new to learn.

At **Sly Fox Stables**, we welcome riders from beginners finding their balance to experienced riders looking to strengthen their skills.

Whether your goal is confidence, better horsemanship, Western riding, or barrel racing, we're here to help you keep moving forward.

Because the best riders never stop learning. ❤️

🌮🐴 **TEXTING TUESDAY: THE TACO NEGOTIATIONS**

We regret to inform you that Taco Tuesday has officially become a labor dispute.

One horse is demanding tacos. Barn staff is citing dietary restrictions. And Mr. Redd, CEO, has conveniently disappeared the moment someone requested management. 🦊☕

Frankly, we're beginning to question whether anyone around here understands the chain of command.

Except the horse. The horse is very clear about what he wants. 🌮🌮🌮

**UPDATE:** Management has declined to comment. The horse has requested a lawyer.

😂 Happy Taco Tuesday from Sly Fox Stables!

☕🦊 **MONDAY MORNING COFFEE TALK WITH CEO FOXX**

Good morning, valued members of the barnyard workforce.

Following yesterday's rather aggressive weather presentation, I have conducted a full executive review.

My findings:

☕ Coffee consumption remains essential.
🐔 The Chicken Committee held three emergency meetings and reached absolutely no conclusions.
🦚 The VP of Looking Important maintained excellent posture throughout the crisis.
🐴 The horses would like to know why breakfast was not served approximately six minutes earlier.

Management appreciates everyone's cooperation during these challenging atmospheric circumstances.

Now, if you'll excuse me, I have a very important appointment with my second cup of coffee.

📰 **THE HITCHING POST | SUNDAY EDITION** 🦊

Well, Mother Nature certainly had something to say this afternoon! ⛈️

After a Sunday filled with tornado warnings and some seriously unsettled skies, we're reminded of a little wisdom from Dolly Parton:

🌳 *“Storms make trees take deeper roots.”*

Around here, we believe in growing strong roots, building confidence, and finding your footing, both in and out of the saddle.

🐴 **Riding Lessons:** Whether you're just beginning or looking to build your skills, there's always something new to learn in the saddle.

🏡 **Horse Boarding:** A place where daily care, familiar routines, and attentive hands make all the difference.

And after a day like today, we're especially grateful for the neighbors who look out for one another.

Here's hoping for calmer skies, happy horses, and a peaceful Sunday evening. ❤️

**YOUR WEEKEND CALLED. IT WANTS MORE HORSE TIME. 🐴**

Maybe that means finally booking your first riding lesson.

Maybe it's getting back in the saddle after a long break.

Or maybe you've got a horse of your own and Saturday is the day you can finally spend a few unhurried hours together.

Whatever brings you to the barn, there's something pretty wonderful about making room for it.

At Sly Fox Stables, we welcome riders from beginner through advanced, with Western riding and barrel racing among the opportunities to keep learning.

**Make some room for the things you love doing.** ❤️
