🐾 HELP US FIND DICE HIS FOREVER HOME! 🐾

Since March, this sweet boy has been in the care of Training Tails after coming from a difficult situation where he was living outside in a crate and in poor condition. 💔

Thankfully, one of our longtime, loyal Training Tails clients found him and stepped up in a big way. The owners agreed to surrender him to them and they have generously covered his care, food, and neuter while he has been with us. Because of their kindness, he has had the chance to get healthy and start a new chapter. ❤️

Now, we’re ready to help him find the loving forever home he deserves!

Here’s a little about him:
💙 Dice is approximately 3.5 years old. Up to do date on vaccines.
🐶 We believe he would thrive best as the only dog in the home.
🦴 He is very treat-motivated, which makes working with him fun!
🎓 He’s a fast learner and has so much potential with someone willing to continue working with him.

To help set him and his new family up for success, Training Tails is offering 3 FREE one-on-one training sessions with his adoption! We want to give him the best possible chance at a happy, successful life with his new family. 🐾

He’s come so far since March, and we would love nothing more than to see him finish this journey with a family of his own. He deserves a safe place to call home, a person to love, and a future full of all the good things he may have missed out on.

🐾 Does Your Dog Actually Like Hugs?

We hug to show love—but dogs don’t always understand affection the same way. Being held tightly, especially with face-to-face contact and direct eye contact, can make some dogs feel trapped, confused, or threatened.

A dog that stays still isn’t necessarily enjoying the hug—they may simply be tolerating it. Watch for these stress signals:

⚠️ Stiffness or freezing
⚠️ Showing the whites of the eyes (“whale eye”)
⚠️ Turning away or avoiding eye contact
⚠️ Flattened ears or a tucked tail
⚠️ Yawning
⚠️ Growling or showing teeth

Instead, let your dog choose how they receive affection. Try gentle scratches behind the ears or on the back, playtime, training, fetch, or tug-of-war.

❤️ The best way to love your dog is to listen to their body language and respect their boundaries. When affection happens on their terms, it becomes more meaningful for both of you.

🏁 What a weekend for the Training Tails Racing Team! 🏁

Hard charger doesn’t even begin to describe Charlie Moore’s Left Turn Motorsports run at Bridgeport last night! After breaking an axle in the heat race, Charlie had to start 16th dead last in the feature. He put his head down, battled through the field, and brought it home 1st! 🏆🔥

And congratulations to Alex Yankowski on another strong Top 5 finish at Afton Motorsports Park on Thursday! 👏🏁

We couldn’t be more proud of both drivers and their teams. Keep charging! 💪🏁

Your dog is not living in a 1950s black‑and‑white sitcom.
They actually see blue, yellow, and gray—thanks to their two color‑detecting cones. But red and green? Nope.
That “bright red” toy you just threw into the yard looks like a sad brownish‑gray potato on a yellowish lawn.
