Sunshine was full of hustle and bustle today!
This morning, Sunny and Strawberry joined the Legs Against Lyme Walk at Onondaga Lake Park in support of the CNY Lyme and Tick Borne Disease Alliance. They were wonderful ambassadors, helping raise awareness that Lyme disease impacts animals too.
Back at the farm, some of our newest volunteers got to meet them after orientation—we’re so excited to welcome and mentor this new group.
We ended the day with another Memory Care Corral session with a mom and her two daughters. The smiles, the connection, and the moments shared with the horses were truly special.
Days like today remind us how much healing, learning, and joy horses bring to so many.

Happy Friday from Sunshine! Busy morning around the farm today!
A huge thank you to the amazing volunteers from our local Target for coming out to help with some spring cleaning. Your hard work made such a difference, and the grounds are looking fantastic!
Teddy was proudly stationed at his “post,” keeping a close eye on all the activity while Tom Bard worked on resurfacing the dry lot—what a transformation!
Thank you all for your time, energy, and support. It truly takes a village, and we’re so grateful for ours.

Lisa Trumble and Sandy Martin joined Congressman Mannion to help shine a light on resources supporting older adults, caregivers, and families throughout Onondaga County.
