Private training is for dogs of every age, whether you've got a teenager who seems to forget everything, a newly adopted adult, or a pup who just needs a little extra support.

Let's bust a few puppy class myths.

❌ "Puppy class is just sit and stay."�We cover socialization, potty, crate and separation anxiety help, handling and grooming practice, and supervised puppy play. Sit is honestly the easy part.

❌ "My puppy is too young."�Puppies can start at 8 weeks! Early, positive experiences help build a confident adult dog.

❌ "We'll just train if problems come up."�Class is about PREVENTING problems before they start,, and raising a puppy who loves to learn.

Puppy Preschool is for puppies 8–20 weeks old, Saturdays at 9am. You can start any Saturday.

If your arms look like you lost a fight with a rosebush… you're not alone. Puppies bite because they're teething, exploring the world with their mouths, overtired, or just a little too excited.
The goal isn't to stop the biting. Our goal is to show them what they CAN bite. Redirect to a toy or chew and praise them for it. If it’s getting wild, check the clock, because an overtired puppy is a bitey puppy. Nap time might be the answer!

It's the next step for Puppy Preschool grads, and a great starting point for dogs 6 months and up who haven't taken a group class yet.
Over six weeks we'll work on focus, impulse control, sits/downs, recall, and loose-leash walking, all in real-life settings.
Saturdays at 10:30am · 6 weeks · $250 · max 6 dogs

New puppy? Let's start them off right. 🐾
Puppy Preschool is a 6-week class for puppies 8–20 weeks old, every Saturday at 9am in a private fenced backyard in Tallahassee. We cover socialization, potty training, crate and separation anxiety help, handling and grooming practice so they're prepared for a lifetime of care.
$250 for all 6 weeks, and classes are capped at 6 puppies. You can start any Saturday, and the sooner the better, since that socialization window doesn't wait!

What helps:�→ Give them something they can actually do: chews, lick mats, frozen toys�→ Swap, don't scold. Trade the shoe for a chew and praise the switch�→ Manage the space. Baby gates and pens are your best friend right now

No classes this Saturday, October 10th 🐾

I'm heading to Chicago for the CANIS Conference and I'm so excited! One of my favorite things about dog training is that there's always more to learn. New research, new ideas, new ways to understand our dogs a little better. Staying curious is how I keep growing as a trainer, and I can't wait to bring it all back to you and your pups.

Every single dog I work with teaches me something new. Hopefully this conference does too. 😄

Long before a growl, most puppies show small "I'm not sure about this" signals. Puppies who learn their quiet signals are heard don't need to get louder. They learn they can trust you to step in. 💛

Finished puppy class? Or have an older pup who's never done a group class? This one's for you. 🎓

Basic Manners is the next step after Puppy Preschool. It's also a great starting point for dogs 6 months and up who haven't taken a group class before. Our next session kicks off Saturday, October 17 at 10:30am.

Over six weeks we'll work on focus, impulse control, a recall you can count on, and loose-leash walking. We practice it all in real-life settings, not just your living room.

$250 for all 6 weeks, with a max of 6 dogs so everyone gets real attention.
