A huge THANK YOU to everyone who came out to our Coffee with Cavies event this past Saturday! We had an amazing turnout with over 150 visitors that got to meet our young cavies up close and even feed them their favorite spinach snacks!

Events like these are so important in helping our cavies become comfortable with crowds and learn to view people in a positive way. Everyone who participated helped us provide valuable socialization and enrichment for these little ones.

We truly appreciate your support and hope you enjoyed spending the morning with our furry friends while getting yourself a morning treat from 4th and Court Bookshop and Makerspace

We can’t wait to see you at the next event!

Today was the grand opening of the Pera Bauer Memorial Splash Pad at the Clay Center Zoo. The splash pad is open daily from 9 am -7pm.

It’s the last week of school before summer!! Come celebrate the season with us at the Clay Center Zoo this Friday and Saturday!

🎉 Friday: Grand Opening of our Pera Bauer Memorial Splash Pad at 3:00 PM

Bring the kids out to kick off summer fun with us. We’ll also be giving away FREE towels and hotdogs while supplies last!

☕ Saturday: Coffee with Cavies 9:00 am to 12:00 pm

Rain or shine, we’ll still be gathering! Enjoy the walking trails and zoo with a coffee (or boba lemonade) in hand, meet our Patagonian cavies, and bring the kids to hear a story and color some fun coloring pages. All Saturday events will take place in the Zoo Welcome Center and a portion of all proceeds will be donated to the zoo!!
