Dental disease is incredibly common in cats, and many kitties are experts at hiding discomfort. 😿 That means your cat could have dental problems without you even realizing it!

Regular dental checkups help us keep an eye on your cat’s oral health and catch problems early. Signs like bad breath, difficulty eating, dropping food, or changes in eating habits can all be reasons to have those pearly whites checked. 🐾

🐾 September Is Animal Pain Awareness Month 🐾

One of the hardest things about being a pet owner? Our pets can’t tell us when something hurts. Instead, pain may show up as subtle changes in behavior:

👀 Less interest in playing
🛋️ Trouble getting up or jumping
🍽️ Changes in appetite
😴 Sleeping more
😠 Irritability or unusual behavior
🐾 Limping or moving differently

You know your pet better than anyone. If something seems different, trust your instincts and bring them in for an exam. There are affordable options to help with different ailments causing pain.

We remember their favorite toys, silly habits, gentle faces, happy greetings, and all the ways they made life brighter. 🌈🐶🐱🐴 If you’re grieving a pet, please know that your feelings are valid. Losing a beloved animal is losing a member of the family, and there is no timeline for healing. Be gentle with yourself today and take comfort in the memories you shared. 💕

🎟️ The Nebraska State Fair is coming and we’re getting your four-legged family members ready! 🐶🐱🐴

Whether your pet is staying home while you enjoy the fair or your livestock is part of the festivities, a little preparation goes a long way. Before the fair fun begins, make sure your pet’s ID information is current, medications are stocked, and you have a plan for keeping them safe and comfortable.
