Army veteran Brendan Jones has intensified his public campaign to bring his dog Lucy home, directly challenging the district attorney to drop the case and exercise prosecutorial discretion.

In a passionate post on social media under the hashtag SaveLucy, Jones argued that Lucy has already spent more time confined in a shelter than many individuals accused of far more serious crimes including murder.

Jones stressed that the incident which triggered Lucy's seizure lasted only seconds, occurred entirely within his own private yard, and caused no harm to anyone. He described the continued prosecution as grossly disproportionate and said he believes the overwhelming majority of the public agrees, calling it a 99 to 1 issue.

Jones made clear he will not allow the matter to quietly fade away. He stated firmly that there is only one victim in this case and that is Lucy, and that the DA has the power to end everything immediately by making the right call.

Beth asked me to post a call for action....

A veteran in Virginia is desperately trying to save his dog that he brought back with him from the middle east 10 years ago.
She had a minor bite history and was added to a dangerous dog registry. She barked at someone, not even leaving her yard, and was seized by animal control.
Please sign the petition, share and make a ton of noise.

Beth asked me to warn you all since we do not know if this is a Facebook breach or email, but I have received 3 of these...

Beth asked me to warn you all since we do not know if this is a Facebook breach or email, but I have received 3 of these since the end of April.
If you have received anything like this... THAT IS NOT BETH'S EMAIL ADDRESS.
There are links in these emails that are supposed to be photos...if you have received one of these emails definitely DO NOT click on the link enclosed.
She is going to run a security scan on her computer to see if she can find any information of where it might have originated.
