This is a ten year old Sea Perch program that Sea Systems Group, Inc. was involved in to provided students with the opportunity to learn about robotics, engineering, science, and mathematics while building the underwater ROV. SEAS contributed the space and instructors for the project and the Society of Naval Architects & Marine Engineers (SNAME) contributed the part kits, tool boxes, and curriculum and train the trainers. It is old news, but still a very cool thing for our youngsters to build.
