Puurrrfect Paws Rescue Puurrrfect Paws Rescue is a foster based 501(c)(3) organization, dedicated to helping cats and kittens in need. We have volunteers all around TN.

We exist to help homeless, abandoned, and abused cats and kittens in need. We value all cats and kittens, and we believe in no momma left behind. Our cats come into the rescue for many different reasons. Many left at high kill shelters, and pulled from euthanization lists. Some are hoarding cases, some turned in by their owners because they could no longer care or afford them, others are found on the streets badly wounded and clinging to life. Regardless of how they come to us, our goal is to rehabilitate and find each of them a loving forever home! We also have kitties at several stores throughout middle TN for adopt as well! Meet Wallnut,

She is the ex girlfriend to Pecan, who was pulled from Montgomery County Animal Care & Control as well but he has since been adopted.

Wallnut is all love as well. This sweet girl has her hair growing back since being infested and treated for fleas. She has been brought UTD on vetting and spayed, no more babies for her.

She can be seen for adoption at Riley's Pet Market on Warfield during their business hours! Please note she does like to nibble on fingers so NO young children.

This is what you call a hodgepodge litter. Momma Keisha came into MCAC with a single kitten. Within a few weeks, she took in 4 more tiny babies needing a mom. This litter has had at least 2 FVRCP vaccines. They have been dewormed and have been treated for fleas. Ages are scattered among the babies.

Keisha Mont: 1-2yo F (DSH Orange and white tabby) This girl has been a wonderful momma. Even now when her oldest are 12wks old, she won't wean them from nursing from her. If her babies need comfort then she is going to provide it. Keisha LOOOOOOVVVES attention! It doesn't matter what you're doing, Keisha is sticking her head against your hand or arm to get pets. Who cares if her kittens want pets from the people, she wants them more and she goes after that affection. She gets along with other cats as long as the introduction is very slow. Keisha is worth it!

Kimber Mont: 12wks F (Chocolate Point DMH) She is the only biological kitten of momma Keisha. Kimber is extremely shy and slow to trust. If you break that trust by giving her medication, you're back to square one with her. She is a very sweet girl that waits for the other shoe to drop. Kimber will sleep next to you in the bed. She will purr in your arms when you pick her up. You just have to get there with her. If all you care about is a gorgeous kitty then Kimber is your girl. However, if you want a purring, cuddly machine, just know she takes work. She's totally worth it. Kimber would do better with another young kitten in the house.

Katerina Mont: 13wk F (Dilute torti DLH) Katerina had a lot of hair. Just know brushing is in your future. Katerina is the purrfect kitten. She loves to cuddle either on your lap or in your arms. She loves to play, but she isn't crazy in her playing either. Katerina can be very independent when it comes to her siblings, but she still nurses for comfort. (She has been spayed)

Kensie Mont: 12wks M (DSH Orange tabby) If you've ever seen an orange tabby before then you know they usually have one brain cell. Kensie has a few more than most, but he's still a male orange tabby. He can keep himself entertained with the smallest piece of tape....for hours. Only wet food and cuddles with his 2 & 4 legged moms demand more of his attention. Kensie has come along way, but he is still just a touch shy with new experiences. You know you've made it when he deems you worthy of crawling all over. He would do well being adopted with his momma since he's a momma's boy.

Sometimes, the sweetest souls find themselves in places they never should have been. 💔 That’s what happened to RockStar. This beautiful Snowshoe Siamese girl ended up at our local animal shelter, and sadly, no one came to reclaim her. We couldn’t bear the thought of this sweet girl sitting in a shelter, wondering what happened to her world. So, we stepped up and gave her a chance at the happily ever after she deserves. 🥹❤️

Now, all RockStar needs is someone to give her the one thing she’s been missing: a forever home where she will never be forgotten again. 🏡💕

At around 6–7 years old, RockStar is a gorgeous girl with a personality as unforgettable as her name! 🎸✨ She’s fixed, fully vetted, microchipped, and ready to start her next chapter with a family who will love her for the rest of her life.

And let us tell you a little secret about this girl… SHE MAKES THE BEST BISCUITS! 🥹🐾

RockStar absolutely loves being loved on, and when she’s comfortable, she gets busy making those adorable biscuits. Now, don’t be surprised if she lets out a little growl while she’s working her magic! 😂💕 Apparently, even the best bakers have to concentrate! Her little growls are part of her quirky charm, and they make her all the more unforgettable.

Beneath that sassy little personality is a sweet girl who deserves to be cherished. ❤️ She may have a few opinions about who she wants to share her space with, but that’s okay! RockStar knows what she likes, and we want to find a home where she can feel safe, comfortable, and loved.

We expect people to get upset about when they get declined. We understand the frustration of wanting a particular cat, but when that cat isn’t a match, we simply will not approve the cat to go to that home for you to “try” and see how she does with 3 dogs. Also please note, the individual was approved to adopt, just not the kitty he wanted since she wouldn’t be a good fit. But alas, he’s been declined and added to a DNA list.

We expect the 1 star review on Google, because the only time people want to review is when they’re upset. So we replied, this way everyone knows the true experience.

What we don’t expect is an adult, who is supposedly serving our country, to fire back with these tasteless texts and abuse the people who volunteer and run the rescue. We simply will not stand for it.

If you’ve had a good experience adopting from us and want to drop 5 stars on Google feel free, until then, we simply ask you to be kind, we’re all human, and acting this way is absolutely ridiculous.

Just look at that handsome face! 😻 Meet Mr. French, a gorgeous seal point Siamese gentleman estimated to be around 2 years old, who is patiently waiting for someone to see just how special he truly is. 💙

Mr. French has so much love left to give, and all he needs is a person to call his own. He’s a sweet, loving boy who enjoys affection and is perfectly okay with being held. He has so much potential to be someone’s devoted companion, little shadow, and best friend. 🥹❤️

💙 A note about his FIV+ status: Mr. French is FIV-positive, but please don’t let those three little letters keep you from considering this amazing boy! FIV is not a death sentence. Many FIV-positive cats live long, happy, comfortable lives with proper care and regular veterinary checkups. FIV is primarily spread between cats through deep bite wounds, and FIV-positive cats can often live happily as cherished companions. Mr. French deserves the same chance at love, safety, and happiness as any other cat. ❤️

He doesn’t need a mansion, a perfect family, or a house full of furry friends. He just needs a safe place to land, a warm lap to curl up on, and someone who will love him for exactly who he is. 🏡💕

Some of the sweetest stories begin with a rocky start, and Toru's is no exception. This beautiful 13-week-old Siamese Seal Point girl spent the beginning of her life surviving on a vacant property before finding safety, comfort, and love indoors. Now, she's ready to find the forever family she's been waiting for.

Toru has a mild case of Cerebellar Hypoplasia (CH), a neurological condition that affects her coordination. The good news? It isn't painful, it won't get worse, and it doesn't require any special medical treatment. It simply means Toru experiences life with a little extra wobble.

And honestly, it may be the cutest thing you've ever seen.

Whether she's toddling after a toy, wobbling her way across the room to greet you, or trying her best to keep up with your feet, Toru approaches every adventure with determination and charm. She doesn't let her unsteady steps slow her down. In fact, she seems blissfully unaware that she's any different at all.

Meet blond 🌟

Blond is a brown tabby and white domestic shorthair. She is fully vetted, spayed, and ready to find her fur-ever home!

Blond is a retired mama with lots of love to give. Since she came from a neglectful situation and wasn't properly socialized, she can be skittish and like to hide. She absolutely loves getting pets and loves attention. She can be very slow to warm up and can hiss if she's feeling unsafe. Blond needs a quiet, calm home where she can feel secure and safe. She is very sweet she just needs someone who will be patient and understanding with her.

Blond does well with other cats and very calm dogs. She would do best in a child free home or one with older kiddos who can give her space when she needs it.

Looking for a couple of sweet souls who just need a little time to feel at home? Meet Avalanche and Zuko! 🤍🩶

Avalanche is a beautiful fluffy girl, and Zuko is a handsome one eyed boy and plenty of charm. Both can be shy when first entering a new environment, but with a little patience and time to settle in, they warm up and begin to show their personalities.

Their previous owner described them as a bonded pair. While they haven't shown many typical bonded-pair behaviors in their foster home, they do coexist comfortably, and both are open to making new feline friends! With proper introductions, they get along well with other cats, too.

These two will do best with adopters who understand that trust takes time and are willing to let them adjust at their own pace. Give them a little patience, a safe place to land, and the chance to settle in, and they'll have the opportunity to blossom into wonderful companions. 🏡💕

Meet Kyo!

Kyo is a 13-week-old Siamese Seal Point with a story that started on a vacant property, where life was uncertain and people were something to be cautious about. Thanks to a lovely lady and the rescue , he's now learning what it means to be safe, loved, and cared for.

While Kyo can be a little shy at first, it's impossible not to root for him. Every day, he takes small, brave steps toward trusting the world around him. And when he finally feels secure, the real Kyo appears: a playful, goofy kitten who chases toys, makes you laugh, and somehow always knows when food is nearby.

In fact, Kyo is a bit of a food thief. After all, when you've spent part of your life wondering where your next meal might come from, can you really blame him for wanting to make sure he doesn't miss one?

Kyo is looking for a patient, quiet home without dogs, where he can continue building confidence and discovering just how wonderful life can be. He doesn't need perfection. He just needs someone willing to give him a chance.

The family that opens their heart to Kyo won't just be adopting a kitten. They'll be changing the ending of his story. And in return, Kyo will spend a lifetime showing his gratitude in the form of purrs, playtime, and unconditional love.
