The furry face behind the missed calls…Miss String. In true clinic cat fashion, String LOVES to walk across our phones and keyboards…even if we’re busy. That being said, if you ever return a missed call from us and we seem confused…it was likely String that made the call. 😅
(She’s even called Dr. Tate at 10pm just to say hi…😬)
Nonetheless, we love her so much and can’t get enough of her crazy antics. 🩶🐱

Beginning June 1st, a service fee will be applied to written prescriptions prepared in-house for products that are available through our clinic or our online pharmacy.

Please note that prescriptions for items we do not carry, or that are currently out of stock, will not be subject to this fee.

🐾 May is Lyme Disease Prevention Month 🐾

As the weather warms up, ticks become more active — which means a higher risk of Lyme disease for our pets. Lyme disease is caused by bacteria transmitted through the bite of infected ticks, most commonly deer ticks. Dogs are especially susceptible, but cats can also be exposed.

Symptoms of Lyme disease in pets may include:
• Fever
• Lethargy or tiredness
• Loss of appetite
• Swollen lymph nodes
• Joint pain or limping that may shift from leg to leg
• In more serious cases, kidney complications can occur

Because ticks are commonly found in grassy areas, wooded trails, and even backyards, pets can be exposed during everyday outdoor activities.

The best protection is prevention! In addition to regular tick prevention products, we also offer the Lyme vaccine here at our clinic to help protect your dog from this potentially serious disease.

With over 10 years in veterinary medicine, Vanessa worked her way up from technician to Practice Manager, and we truly couldn’t imagine this place without her. She keeps everything running smoothly (even on the craziest days!) and never hesitates to jump in and help wherever she’s needed.
Vanessa is not only hardworking and dedicated, but also one of the most supportive, kind, and genuinely funny people you’ll meet. She’s a proud wife and mom, and at home she cares for quite the crew — dogs, a cat, and even a snake! 🐍🐶🐱

We had the sweetest little visitor today—Nala 🐾✨
This adorable baby kitten came in for her very first visit, and she completely stole our hearts! From tiny meows to curious little paws exploring everything, she was as brave as she was cute 💕
