So far it's been hard to build vendor interest for Oak Grove 😕

Still looking 👍
Did a quick outside/location look at the Oak Grove venue back on the 4th, seemed reasonable 👍

The game changer is KY laws.

Mammal breeders/vendors just have no interest in crossing over to KY due to laws or law differences.
(know 1 in KY interested)

Reptile and bird vendors are split some interested 👍 some not.

currently waiting on a reply from ky fish and game to be certain we have everything set and correctly understood to have an event in Oak Grove.

So far 4 days no reply.
With the holidays it might be a while .

still looking... as of now.. if we use Oak Grove (Ky) instead of Clarksville (Tn) , the following can NOT be at the expo if we use Oak Grove.

Foxes
Raccoons
Monkeys
Pot belly pigs
Prairie dog
Gila monsters or beaded lizards
Caimans
Marine, or cane toad
African clawed frog
Spice Finches

(just what's allowed in TN but not in KY)

Have found some possibilities in Oak Grove.

The good :
- Venues available
- Not far from Clarksville

The bad :
- TN vendors will have to buy permits for KY
- Most TN mammal vendors - won't do ky
- KY laws being different than TN laws , people would have to pay more attention to purchases .

Getting replies from some place we didn't even realize were city owned.
Now can see online - city rules (they say county is the same)

📢 Giving this 1 last push , maybe someone in the area knows of a usable venue.

Running a paid ad , looking for info.
Really wanted to do a Clarksville expo or show 👍

If we can find something - we'll be there 👍

If not we're going to have to give up 😪
So far we've got costs from the covid cancelation, trips up to look or try to look at places , other ads wrapped up into everything without being able to actually do anything.

All of us that have made calls - have been told anything owned by the city of Clarksville and/or Montgomery County does not allow animal events. Had a few people tell us about dog shows so idk .

Also tried at different times , the emerald, tanglewood , traditions , f and m arena , many others.

Any area vendors know of useable venues - will give free tables in exchange for info if it leads to a useable venue.
