Can be part time or 40/hrs a week. Pay will be determined by your experience level in aquatics, or experience level with selling on eBay, Etsy, Whatnot, and Amazon. However no experience is needed as long as you're willing to learn.
Position 1: Shop Helper
Type of work:
*Water changes on the tanks that need them.
*Planting, trimming, or moving aquatic plants that we grow.
*Catching and moving fish and shrimp.
*Packing/shipping orders.
General shop work that may pop up day to day.
Skills that help for this position would be:
*Knowledge in aquatics though it is not needed.
*Being able to work standing up for majority of the day.
Position 2: Online Shop Manager
Type of work:
*Managing eBay, Etsy, Whatnot, and other online Marketplaces we may start in the future.
*Taking photos of our listings and putting them up online.
*Helping assist the shop employees from time to time with orders or general maintenance.
Skills that help would be:
*Knowledge of how to use eBay, Etsy, Whatnot, or Amazon as a seller. *Knowledge in aquatics.
These are not needed , but will help increase the hourly pay.
Environment is pretty relax and chill. We work and listen to music, laugh and joke around all day while getting the day to day work done. The fish and shrimp are always fun to watch and interact with as well. Overall it's a pretty chill job that most people can do.
Must be:
*At least 16 years old (out of high school)
*No criminal record
*Able to finish tasks unsupervised from time to time.
*Able to lift at least 50 pounds from time to time.
*Most importantly be RELIABLE, POSITIVE, and have INTEGRITY!
