🎆 Firework Safety for Pets 🎆

Every year, pets are lost due to fear of fireworks. We want your pets to be safe, so here are some tips to help:

1️⃣ Reunite your pet with an updated microchip.
2️⃣ Make a safe space for them to hide inside and give them toys or treats to keep them busy.
3️⃣ Turn up some ambient noise like the TV or radio to help drown out the fireworks.
4️⃣ Walk your dog during daylight to prevent the risk of walking when fireworks are likely to be set off.
5️⃣ Ensure all your windows and doors are securely closed to prevent your pet from escaping.
6️⃣ Allow your pet access to plenty of spaces within the home so they have options to choose somewhere they feel safe.
7️⃣ Ask a veterinarian for help if your pet is scared by fireworks.

It's going to be another hot one today. Please keep Fido home in the ac while you're out running errands. Also, any outdoor pets, give fresh water often. Add fans, kiddie pools, and plenty of shade. Keep walks short, and do early morning or later in the evening. Keep in mind, sidewalks get very hot!! If you dont want to walk barefoot on it, don't make Fido.

I'm available today for any needs.
