After saying farewell to Dr. Hall as she begins her next chapter following her relocation, we are excited to officially welcome Dr. Baker to the Eastview Veterinary Clinic team! 🐾

Dr. Baker joins us with 10 years of veterinary experience practicing in Arizona and brings special interests in Internal Medicine and Exotic Medicine. She is passionate about preventative care, client education, and helping owners fully understand their pet’s health and treatment options.

Dr. Baker describes her approach to medicine as straightforward, empathetic, and focused on ensuring owners feel comfortable and informed every step of the way. She especially enjoys the challenge of working through complex cases and advocating for pets who cannot tell us what is wrong themselves.

When she’s not in clinic, she enjoys reading, hiking, museums, zoos, and spending time with her pets — Grizabella and Mistoffelees (her tabby cats) and Omelette the bearded dragon. She also appreciates good dark coffee, dark chocolate, and a healthy dose of sarcasm. ☕🐱🦎
Dr. Baker officially started Monday, and we are excited for our clients and patients to get to know her. Please help us give her a warm Eastview welcome! ❤️

Brice’s story is one we won’t forget 💙

After 63 days at Montgomery County Animal Care & Control, Brice has finally found his forever home 🥹
He came to the shelter with a leash embedded in his neck and a painfully swollen face — clear signs he had endured more than any dog should. On top of that, he tested positive for heartworms, requiring weeks of restricted activity and careful treatment.

But through it all, Brice never lost his spirit. He remained the same goofy, resilient boy every single day ❤️

And now… he gets the fresh start he’s always deserved.

To the family who opened their hearts to him: thank you for seeing his worth and giving him the second chance he’s always deserved.

Today is World Veterinary Day, and at Eastview…this one feels especially personal. Veterinary medicine asks a lot. Long days, hard conversations, emotional decisions…and then doing it all again the next morning with the same level of care.

To Dr. Wilbanks, Dr. Hall, and Dr. Atwell, thank you. Truly.
Not just for your medical skill, but for the way you show up when it’s hard…for staying a little longer, explaining things one more time, and carrying cases that don’t always have the endings we hope for. Our clients may see moments...but we see the consistency behind them, day in and day out.

And for Dr. Hall, as you head into your final week with us, we just want to say how much you’ve meant to this team. Your steadiness, your care for your patients, and the way you’ve supported those around you has left a mark here that won’t be forgotten. You will be deeply missed. We wish you all the best in your next adventure.

This profession isn’t easy...but it matters. And the people who choose it matter even more.

As we move through this transition, we’re grateful to continue caring for this community. We’re also looking forward to welcoming Dr. Baker to Eastview starting May 4th.
