Is your daily walk turning into an unintentional upper-body workout? 🐕💨
If your furry best friend treats the leash like a sled-dog race, you aren't alone. Most people think pulling means their dog is stubborn or dominant. The truth? They just haven't learned how to balance excitement with environment yet!
Here is one quick shift you can try on your very next walk around the neighborhood:

Wait for Slack: The moment your dog takes a step back or looks at you, creating even a tiny bit of slack in the leash, say "Yes!" and take a step forward.

Teaching dogs not to pull on a leash is very important! It also makes the walk with your dog even more enjoyable! With time and consistency they can learn to walk easily and make the walk fun!

Exposing your dog to their biggest distraction repeatedly establishes to your dog that nothing new happens when they’re around! Our goal isn't to make your dog hate the distraction; it's to make it as boring as possible! We do this by keeping them far enough away that they can look at it without exploding, gradually teaching them that the distraction brings zero changes! With consistency it works! If you want results like this for your heavily focused pup! Send me a message I’ll love to speak with you!

Here’s the first one tell me which one you think is a lie! Also if you or anyone you know needs a dog trained either message me or use the call button! I’ll reveal who’s right when people guess!

Dogs have a special "third eyelid" called a nictitating membrane that helps protect and lubricate their eyes.
Chow Chows and Shar-Peis are the only dog breeds born with completely pink tongues that never change color.
A dog's nose print is completely unique, much like a human fingerprint, and can be used to identify them.

No judgment here—every great dog has a wild puppy phase! Tell us in the comments! These are all correctable behaviors and I can certainly help! Message me if interested! I’ve got the plenty of openings!
