Some hard truths: šš¼
1) C**t starting really does mean c**t STARTING. The beginning of years work, they still need time even after 60-90 days of starting; and thatās your job to finish it or continue to pay someone else to.
2) If you get your horse back from a trainer, and the horse does good for the trainer but not youā¦ the horse isnāt the problem. Likely his/her rider needs lessons, and most trainers do offer lessons.
3) Be open minded and understanding when sending off horses, cause if anything horses ALWAYS find a way to hurt themselves; even in stalls. Itās not IF itās when.
4) Trainers are human, everyday they learn something too, and nobody is perfect.
5) Miracles donāt happen under 60 days..especially when you have a rotten horse.
6) Failures and setbacks are almost guaranteed, somedays we take 5 steps forward and some we take a few back..
7) Thereās no quick way to train a good horse
8)Horse trainers arenāt cheap, and good ones are even harder to find.
9) Thereās more than one way to train a horse, just cause itās not how you do it, doesnāt mean itās the wrong way.
10) At the end of the day, whatās best for the horse is all that matters.
