I try not to sound like I am a preacher on here🙈, Its about education💚🐴 I have learned from the best woman in my 54yrs of life on how to take care of our investiments....especially our horse's blankets!

🌲🌲WASH/WIPE DOWN THOSE TAIL FLAPS EVERY WEEK DURING BLANKET SEASON AND GET BLANKETS DEEP CLEANED AND SANITIZED AT END OF THE SEASON ASAP, ESPECIALLY IF NO TAIL FLAP LINER!

YALL, NEVER LEAVE MANURE SIT ON YOUR HORSE'S BLANKET ALL SUMMER OR ELSE YOU WILL RUIN THE FACTORY WATER PROOFING🌲🌲

Pic is of a tail flap that manure started eating away at the sprayed on rubbery factory water proof backing to the outer shell material! Imagine what it has done to the inside/body of a sheet, even if theres a liner...manure gases are trapped inside there👀

❓️ "How can you tell this is happening"

If the clear waterproofing on an unlined tailflap starts to look like it is soaking up oils, its already fuming gases reacting with the factory water proofing. Longer it sits, the more it soaks in "eating" away. Eventually you get it wet and start scrubbing it, it will just all start peeling clumping off, leaving behind nothing but the outer shell material. Rain will go directly through that outer shell material if no water reppellant has even been applied to bead off water prolonging the rain from soaking through. Any water repellant applied to outer shell will NOT protect and act as the sprayed on rubbery factory waterproofing, not even a wash in repellant. It is to prolong n maintain the factiry water proofing. This is why it is very important to have your horse's blankets deep cleaned once a year and a water repellant appllied to maintain the factory water proofing from being damaged. In the long run, you will spend less on maintaining a blanket versus buying new ones every 2 years!

So exciting for our friends over at Locust Run getting their new barn finished up just in time for winter. They have had some rough times since last winter's ice storm that collapsed their barn. Awesome pic Becky took of Sunbelt Rental's scissor lift! Yall need any equipment around the farm, reach out to us and we can see whats available! Hubs went North Carolina corporate with Sunbelt Rentals as Southeast Regional Project Manager and is no longer shop managing the local Clarksville, TN 🌞💚Sunbelt Rentals store. I will be over here washing 🐎 blankets waiting for the day Sunbelt gets those forestry attachments added to the fleet of equipment🤠 Have yall seen the forestry attachments for skidsteers? Will cost as much as the Ozone system😃!

Home early today after Tennessee's Delivery/Pickup Day🛻! I even stayed out at Cherry Farms Farms for few hours this morning for their Veterinarian Day! Thank you Jerry for letting me hang out with yall and the horses on this beautiful fall🍂Tuesday morning...minus the spilling of my coffee on your blanket bag ☕️🙈🤠 Im going to be able to get a head start this afternoon wrapping 🐴 blanket hardware! Tomorrow....Ozone🥶Washing with Blanket Safe...or late tonight while everyone sleeping, meaning the maligators🐾

I can start my week off right now....I found the rest of my bungy cords that i have been missing😆🤠 I knew i had left them at someone's barn! Had no idea i had shoved them down in a client's ATR barn tote! I bought new ones and guess i will have extra!

Who needs a blanket service and have not gotten onto your Horse Blanket Nutitionist's books yet for this year?

I have opened up the gate for the week of Thanksgiving! That is all I have opened till end of the year folks! I will have 2027 books opened starting Dec 26th for booking. As always, I highly recommend grtting on my books early in year, even if scheduling a fall service.

Its been a Fall Break week for little Rain Leigh! We spent 2 days up Kentucky delivering blankets and picking up saddle pads! Today we spent the day up at Heather Ridge Farm, delivering their 20 sheets and heavies and watching the farrier with Grams! Ziggy was "not me today" before the farrier even walked into the barn, but she Grams girl n listens well. Rain got to meet Buc-ee finally and loaded up her shopping cart like there was no limit on the checkbook and this Mimi got a leather n stainless steel Swig cup that came out back for the Kentucky Derby 2026! Ending the week ready for this cold shot weekend... that we eating spider dogs for dinner again! Long days on the roadways who wants to cook! I should had let a pot of beans simmer all day today! Yall ready for the cold? Got them sheets washed clean and air dried ready? Whats yalls favorite foods to eat when weather gets chilly cold?

When mother nature wants to bite...she bites you hard! I have 28 soaking wet horse blankets that just got sprayed repellant this morning😭 Its not only raining unexpected rain.....its thunder, lightening, and sideways rain⛈️ I be respraying tomorrow afternoon after get back from being on the Kentucky roadways! No time to move blanket racks so I flipped a 89 heavy with neck over my tredmill and powdered up the fans! Rain stops, be moving the rest of the blankets inside!
