We have some amazing senior cats who are in need of a forever home. They are the sweetest and most loving bunch who love pets and snuggles. If you’d like to meet them they’re currently at the HHR event in Lewiston ID @ 1105 Bryden ave.

Riverview has our own experienced Vet Chiropractor on staff offering Cold Laser Therapy. It is used to decrease inflammation and pain and increase circulation to injured tissues to accelerate healing. We use medical grade lasers for both chronic pain as well as acute conditions, such as post-operative pain and swelling and back injuries. Call for more information.

𝗥𝗔𝗕𝗜𝗘𝗦 𝗜𝗦 𝗦𝗧𝗜𝗟𝗟 𝗢𝗨𝗧 𝗧𝗛𝗘𝗥𝗘 - This year alone, we’ve heard reports of rabies in 𝗯𝗮𝘁𝘀, including in our own region, as well as cases involving 𝗿𝗮𝗰𝗰𝗼𝗼𝗻𝘀, 𝗴𝗼𝗮𝘁𝘀 𝗮𝘁 𝗮 𝗽𝗲𝘁𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘇𝗼𝗼, 𝗮 𝗵𝗼𝗿𝘀𝗲, and even 𝗸𝗶𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗻𝘀.

Not all of these cases were local, but they’re an important reminder that rabies is very much still a risk.

Please make sure your animals are 𝗰𝘂𝗿𝗿𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗼𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗶𝗿 𝗿𝗮𝗯𝗶𝗲𝘀 𝘃𝗮𝗰𝗰𝗶𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀. Dogs and cats aren’t the only animals that can be exposed. Horses and other livestock can be at risk, too.

Rabies is nearly always fatal once symptoms appear, but vaccination is one of the best ways to protect both animals and the people who care for them.

Riverview Animal Clinic is growing into our new building, and we’re looking for Veterinary Assistants and Receptionists to join our team!

We’re a busy, fast-paced practice that provides wellness, urgent, and emergency care. We’re looking for compassionate, dependable people who communicate well, take pride in excellent patient care, and genuinely enjoy being part of a team.

🐾 Meet Hunter! 🐾

Looking for a lovable older gentleman with a sweet personality? Meet Hunter, a 9-year-old Chow Chow who is ready to find his final forever home!

Hunter may not be your typical Chow Chow this handsome guy absolutely LOVES everyone! He is incredibly patient, affectionate, and always ready to make new friends. 🥰 He also has plenty to say and will happily tell you all about it with his big personality!

And if you have a squeaky toy, you may have just found Hunter’s new best friend! He absolutely LOVES squeaky toys and could happily spend his day playing with them.

Hunter:
🐾 Loves squeaky toys!
🐾 Gets along well with other dogs
🐾 Has not been tested with cats
🐾 LOVES going on walks

Hunter was surrendered to Riverview because of his passion for hunting skunks and chickens. While he is a sweet, loving gentleman, he will need a home with no poultry where he can safely enjoy his retirement without temptation.

At 9 years old, Hunter is hoping someone will look past his age and give him the final forever home he deserves. He has so much love, personality, and companionship left to give.
