Some dogs come into our lives and leave paw prints on our hearts. Otis left them on my soul.

He was there through some of the happiest moments of my life and some of the hardest. He never needed words to understand me. Somehow he always just knew. He was my shadow, my comfort, my best friend, and a piece of my heart that I'll carry forever.

Some days I still miss him more than I can put into words.

I want to thank all of you who have shared your own stories and memories of the dogs that changed your lives. Reading your messages reminds me that while our time with them is never long enough the love they leave behind never goes away.
