🐾 MEET BATMAN & ROBIN! 🐾

🚨They are looking for their forever home!🚨

These two handsome boys started out as feral cats, unsure of people and not quite ready to trust. But with lots of patience, love, and dedication from their amazing foster, Amanda, they have completely transformed! ❤️

Now, they’re acting like two sweet kittens who never had a feral bone in their bodies! 🥹🐱

Amanda named them Batman & Robin, and we think the names fit these two perfectly. Their story is such a beautiful reminder of what a little patience, a safe place, and a whole lot of love can do.

We’re so proud of how far these boys have come! 🐾💙

Our CARES team and our animals had such a wonderful time at the Mighty Roots Festival in Stovall! We loved getting to meet so many amazing people, introduce you to some of our rescue babies, and share what CARES is all about. ❤️

We’re looking for a safe temporary home for two sweet Chihuahua siblings, JW (male) and Fifi (female). ❤️

Their owner is currently working on getting settled into her new home, and she wants her babies back as soon as she is able to provide them with a safe place again. This is only temporary—they just need somewhere safe and loving to stay while she gets everything settled.

Appointments begin at 5:15 PM. Dr. Pittman will remain at the shelter until all scheduled clients have been seen.

🐾 PET OF THE WEEK: GRETCHEN 🐾

Gretchen's story is one we won't forget. ❤️

Gretchen was once on the euthanasia list. She made it to CARES, and now she has been given the chance she deserved all along — a chance to heal, feel safe, and find a family of her own. 🏠

Gretchen is a beautiful Rottweiler who weighs about 39 pounds and we estimate her to be around 1–2 years old. She came to us after experiencing abuse, and despite everything she has been through, she remains one of the sweetest and most obedient girls. ❤️

She knows how to sit, is very quiet, and has such a gentle personality. She does well with small dogs, other dogs, cats, and children. 🐶🐱👧

Gretchen is heartworm positive and is currently going through her first round of treatment. She still needs to be spayed, and we are doing everything we can to get her healthy and ready for the next chapter of her life.

The fact that Gretchen can still be this sweet after everything she has been through is something truly special.

🐾 BUCK IS READY FOR HIS NEXT CHAPTER! 🐾

If you’ve been following Buck’s story, you know this sweet boy has been through quite an ordeal. He spent THREE WEEKS with a bucket stuck on his head before finally getting the help he needed. Despite everything he went through, Buck has continued to show us just how sweet and deserving he is.

Now we’re excited to share that applications are officially OPEN for Buck! ❤️

Buck is a 1-year-old Chocolate Labrador Retriever mix looking for someone who will give him the love, patience, and forever home he deserves.
