In honor of **National Veterinary Technician Week**, Clarksburg Veterinary Hospital will be **CLOSED on Friday, October 23, 2026**, so our entire team can take some well-deserved time to celebrate together! 🥳🐶🐱

Veterinary medicine is so much more than a profession. It's a commitment to caring for animals who cannot tell us where it hurts, comforting worried pet parents, celebrating the happy moments, and standing beside our patients and their families through some of the most difficult ones. ❤️

Behind the scenes, our team works tirelessly to make sure every patient receives the love, compassion, and medical attention they deserve. From early mornings and long surgeries to emergency situations, endless laundry, unexpected messes, and the occasional patient who would rather eat us than let us help them 🤣 — our days are anything but predictable!

Our veterinary technicians and support staff wear countless hats. They're nurses, anesthetists, dental technicians, laboratory technicians, pharmacy technicians, patient advocates, professional animal wranglers, and sometimes even therapists for our four-legged patients AND their humans! 🩺🐾

They give their time, energy, knowledge, patience, and hearts to a profession that can be physically exhausting and emotionally demanding. And despite the challenges, they continue to show up for the animals who depend on them.

**This Friday, we're taking a day to celebrate the people who spend every other day taking care of everyone else.** 💙

We believe that recognizing our team's dedication, strengthening our relationships, sharing some laughs, and simply enjoying time together outside the daily demands of veterinary medicine are just as important as the work we do inside our hospital.

Behind every healthy pet, every successful surgery, every wagging tail, and every comforting purr is a team of dedicated veterinary professionals who give their hearts to what they do. 🩺🐶🐱

Our veterinary technicians wear SO many hats! They're nurses, anesthetists, dental hygienists, laboratory technicians, patient advocates, professional animal snugglers, and sometimes even emotional support humans! ❤️

They celebrate the victories, comfort the scared, advocate for those without a voice, and hold paws through some of life's hardest moments.

Veterinary Technician / Veterinary Assistant

Clarksburg Veterinary Hospital is looking for a Veterinary Technician or Veterinary Assistant to join our team!

We are a busy, fast-paced small animal hospital, but we believe that a busy day doesn’t have to be a miserable one. We work hard, help each other, and try to create an environment where our staff can enjoy coming to work while providing excellent care to our patients.

Experience is strongly preferred, and compensation is highly competitive and based on experience and skill level.

What we offer:
- Full-time (30-40 hours/week) or part-time availability
- Monday–Friday regular schedule
- No routine weekend hours
- Rotating weekend coverage approximately once every 5–6 weeks, and only when we have hospitalized patients requiring care
- Weekend coverage may be traded or given away among team members
- Highly competitive wages
- Modern, fast-paced hospital environment
- Supportive, team-oriented workplace

Full-time benefits after a 90-day probationary period include:

She is approximately 5 years old, spayed, and has the prettiest dark tortoiseshell coloring. She’s a sweet girl who deserves a safe, loving home where she can be spoiled and cherished.

She is front-paw declawed, so she will need to be an indoor-only cat.
