⚠️ The Oklahoma Humane Society is warning pet owners about a parvovirus outbreak across the state.

🐶 Canine parvovirus is highly contagious and can be deadly, especially for puppies and unvaccinated dogs. Symptoms can include lethargy, loss of appetite, vomiting and diarrhea.

Veterinarians say early treatment is key, and pet owners should make sure dogs are up to date on vaccinations. Learn more about how to keep your pets safe in the comments below ⬇️

We are proud to announce that our boarding facility is completely finished and ready to take care of your precious pets!

Here at Blue Starr Animal Hospital, we offer bright canine suites and sunny cat condos with a spacious, private room hand-picked by Dr. Potts. So, while you’re away on vacation, business or even a family emergency, you can be sure your pet's care is in good hands.

We will be having an open house this Wednesday, May 13, 2026 from 12:00 pm to 4:00 pm. You will be able to tour our building, meet our team and ask questions you may have about your pet's stay at Blue Starr Animal Hospital.
