I know everyone has been waiting on this big tank.
Here is your Hopper UPDATE! 🧡
His Mama sent me this:
Every morning begins the same way: with 65 pounds of pure, fluffy affection invading the bed. Hopper is convinced he is a lap dog, putting his front paws up on the mattress for us to lift him
up the rest of the way for his mandatory morning routine of kisses and cuddles. With the sweetest, most mellow temperament of any puppy we have ever had, it is impossible to deny him
his morning snuggle time.
Once out of bed, Hopper transforms into a creature of absolute focus - food. Hopper can be sound asleep in another room, but the exact second the microwave dings or the fridge opens, he is on his feet and running for the kitchen. He comes charging down the hall like a gentle, furry freight train, ready for breakfast, lunch, or dinner. And if we happen to be running a few minutes late with his meal? Hopper has no problem defiantly letting us know that mealtimes are officially being delayed.
The dynamic between the two dogs is a comedy routine in itself. Finn, a high-energy Golden Retriever, loves to tear across the grass, running wild, dizzying circles around his little brother.
Hopper, ever the quiet thinker, simply sits perfectly still in the center of the yard like a calm island in the middle of a golden storm watching Finn. Then, just when Finn thinks he has the upper hand, Hopper chooses his moment perfectly, leaping up to jump at his brother in a sudden, playful ambush.
He absolutely adores his big brother, and despite his calculating yard games and vocal dinner demands, Hopper remains the gentlest, sweetest addition to our family—even if the bed feels just
a little bit smaller every single morning.
We love him so much and it feels like he has been part of our family for a lot longer than 3 months!
