Beauty & Brains Mobile Groomer and Canine Behaviorist My interest in the pet industry began when I applied to a corporate pet store as a dog trainer. I felt lost and confused.

There was an opening as a professional bather available instead, and this piqued my interest as well. Within one year, I had advanced to become a professional pet stylist and the manager of the whole salon. I was with the company for five years, when I decided to move to a private shop, and now have opened my own. In the meantime, I began to notice problematic behaviors with my own pets which seem

ed to only escalate. It was hard for me to understand how I could work and communicate with difficult pets in a professional setting, yet in a personal setting, I was worried about the safety of my own dogs' behavior. I saw trainer after trainer, read book after book and spent dollar after dollar on vet bills. Then one of the receptionists at my vets office recommended seeing a behaviorist instead of continuing with obedience trainers. That is when I met Blair Diamond, with Primal Needs Behavioral Solutions. He taught me how to properly communicate with my own dogs so that I could finally see results. I was then able to train with Blair at his facility and get the hands on experience I needed to help other pet parents have the tools they need to have calmer happier pets. I am confident in my abilities to give you a happy pet both inside and out, because happier pets enrich our lives.

About us:
We’re a busy mobile dog grooming business serving the Greater Sacramento area. Our mission is to give pets a stress-free grooming experience right at their doorstep. We’re looking for a reliable, dog-loving groomer to join our team and help pups look and feel their best!

What You’ll Do:
• Bathe, dry and groom dogs of all sizes and breeds
• Clean and maintain the mobile grooming van
• Greet pet parents and assist with check-in/check-out

Requirements:
• Able to lift 50 lbs and work on your feet
• Good attitude and team player
• Comfortable working in a mobile van environment
• Valid driver’s license
• Self-motivated
• Must love dogs and be calm, gentle, and dependable

Nice to Have:
• Mobile grooming experience
• Customer service skills

Schedule: Part-time to full-time, flexible hours, must be available some weekends

The first picture is the day Juno came into our lives and the second was taken today.

Juno was very unsure of human touch and terrified. She spent the first two years of her life living on 22 acres with limited human contact and was adopted by a wonderful human. She did the best she could in the almost year that she had Juno. We did an intense training program, but due to some health reasons, she decided to allow me the opportunity to help Juno further by giving her a home with a professional who could help her.

I’ve had the pleasure of working with her and she’s made some amazing progress. I’m excited to be able to continue to help her grow. e
