Cheeky Chicks Farm Cheeky Chicks is a small hobby chicken farm that breeds NSV Silkies towards the SOP.

Currently working on Blue/Black Mottled, Chocolate Mottled, Red Mottled, Chocolate, and a couple hidden varieties at this time.

I’m so incredibly happy with how many dark skinned chicks I’m hatching from my Black/Blue Mottled and Chocolate/Mauve Mottled pens! My splits have completely black skin, my full Mottleds have mostly dark skin. This is going to be a good year for growouts and selection!

Hearing the little peeps of chicks hatching will never get old. Plus I just put over another ~30 someodd eggs from all my pens 🫣

I just love hatching chicks galore. Guess I’ll have lots of growouts available later.

This hatch included Blue/Black Mottled, Chocolate Mottled, Red Mottled, and splits. Look at how precious!

I cannot thank Bobbi Porto enough for the opportunity to take so many of her Red and Red Cuckoos off her hands. I’m so excited to get working on them and also use their amazing genetics to further some of my projects. This year and next I hope to make leaps in progress on type.

Hey everyone, I currently have a handful of Mille Fleur and Red Mottled boys that can fly the coop. I think one would even work great for a Blue Laced Red project. Some are full mottled and some are split to mottled but all have at least 1 copy of the mottling gene.

I don’t currently have any girls available at this time.

Hey everybody, it’s been a long time since I’ve last posted.

I want you all to know I’m still here and I’m still breeding, I’ve just cut back a lot. I’m currently finishing up nursing school and while I want to keep up with my hobby, I’ve had to cut back so that I also have plenty of time to study and focus on school.

I currently only work with Silkies at the moment, and only in three colors. Chocolate/Mauve/Mauve Splash, Black/Blue Mottled, and Red Mottled.

While I hatch and grow out a handful of chicks every now and then, it’s nothing like how I used to. So I won’t have a ton of birds available. I’m in the middle of redesigning my breeding pens so I don’t really have eggs available at this moment either. Though hopefully I will in the future.

Thank you everyone who continues to support me! I hope by next year I can be back into the full swing of things and working on my birds like I used to.
