Congrats to one of our latest puppy program graduates, Rudy! This golden boy has mastered his "out" / "drop it" command and has built lasting basic obedience skills with the help of his dedicated mom. We will miss seeing this guy every week but are excited to see him continue to grow! 🐾🌻🩵

The biggest improvement sometimes comes in the smallest packages 🏆
When dealing with shy and fearful dogs it's easy to keep their world small. But by putting in the work (and play) to build confidence, we are able to create much bigger and more fulfilling lives for our best friends.
Trixie and Sydney have been such a joy to work with - these gals have grown in confidence and skill, and I'm so impressed by the bond they continue to build each day ✨

Obedience is way more than your dog just understanding commands…it’s about building a partnership filled with engagement, fulfillment, and trust. This goofy muppet and his mom have done just that over the last 2 months! Together we focused on obedience foundations, nice leash skills, and worked towards off leash freedom - all of which were possible because of the bond these two have built. So many congrats to Fozzie and his mom for the progress made on both ends of the leash - we have loved being a part of your journey!

Somehow the year is over half way over....
And we all know the rest of the year will fly by just as fast, blink twice and the holidays will be here.

So my question is - if there is one skill you wish your dog could learn by the end of this year, what would it be?
Perfect recall? Stop counter surfing? Walk nicely on leash? Dont act like you want to eat the person walking across the street?

No matter now neutral your pup is, 🧑‍🧑‍🧒‍🧒crowded spaces, 📣loud noises, and 🔥 hot weather are risky factors to expose your best friend to. More dogs will go missing tonight than any other night this year - please keep yours safe, cool, and calm indoors!

Stopped in at Canine Crunch Co between sessions this morning and boy will I be back! Nutrition and ingredient labels are something I take so seriously as a dog owner and trainer, and I am rarely impressed with packaged treat offerings at scratch bakeries. I was pleasantly surprised and so impressed with the ingredients and inclusions the team at Canine Crunch Co is using in their treat production.
