Lots of work the past 2 days with Archie imprinting wanted behaviors, learning what is expected and building a foundation to work from.

Off to the park today to see what we get from Archie.

Will he revert back to out of control Archie or show us what he has learned the past few days and show us he can deal with the distractions calmly?

Ryoko is a great student. Attentive, learns from her mistakes and is curious. Only two days into training and she has settled in, loving her crate, little to no drooling and she is calming down nicely which helps her soak in everything we are asking of her!

First walk with Archie a little bit after drop off. Starting with structure and going from there. He has a lot to learn but definitely off to a good start! 😃

Welcome Archie! An 8 month old Golden Retriever that jumps, doesn’t know how to calm his mind, play bites, chews on anything and everything. Archie is very destructive and plays aggressively.

The family reports they have lost control and desperately want it back and want to be able to keep Archie in their home. They have younger kids and Archie is ruling the house! 😳

Stay tuned as Archie learns to listen and hold commands, walk nicely on a leash, learns what No means and complies, comes when called and can exist calmly around the family and in the world!

Decisions! Decisions!! This is real life stuff for Yogi!

Lots of potential conflicts for Yogi as the balls out. And yes before you ask Yogi got a ball to play for all his great work!

You can watch the video and see Yogi distracted, Mike calls him and Yogi thinks twice about going to get the ball. A verbal NO, Yogi didn’t respond so a tap on the ecollar gets his attention and he completes the wanted command.

Ecollars are amazing communication tools when conditioned correctly.
