We’ve been open a little over six months, and we are so grateful for every client and patient we get to see. The icing on the cake though- is that we’ve had overwhelmingly amazing reviews- and we cannot tell you how proud we are for every five star review we get! If you have been one of the clients who has taken the time to leave us a five star review- thank you from the bottom of our hearts!!

Just a few patients we’ve seen over the past two weeks!!

Jeb is 16 weeks old and is already 42 pounds!!! Baloo, also 16 weeks old- is almost 35 pounds! I cannot wait to see how big these boys are going to be when they’re full grown!

We also saw our favorite Great Dane, Stanley, and though I forgot to get a picture of him, the difference between his collar and Pika was astounding!

And last, but certainly not least, the most perfect Eloise. She had emergency surgery two weeks ago, and is riding in style in her own set of wheels! She could use all of the positive thoughts and good vibes, but so far, she’s hanging in like the absolute warrior she is! 🩷

Mason Veterinary and Surgical Center is ecstatic to announce that we were selected as one of the SIX finalists for the Cincinnati Bengals and Paycor Earn Your Stripes competition!

Next month, we’ll head to Paycor Stadium to pitch MVSC in front of a panel of judges- and honestly, we still can’t believe we get to say that out loud.

From countless Bengals games over the years to building our dream practice right here in this community, this moment feels so special to our entire team!

We think MVSC looks pretty good in stripes… now let’s see if we can make it official 🐅

We never knew we had such a thing for feet…until we met Larry! 👀 🐾

Larry has a congenital condition called polydactyly, which means he was born with extra toes! Most of the time, polydactyl cats live perfectly normal lives with nothing more than an added splash of cuteness! But in Larry’s case, some of his extra nails grew in a way that poked into neighboring toes, causing pain and discomfort when he walked.

To help keep him comfortable, we surgically removed the problematic nails - and the difference was immediate! Now, three years later, Larry is still happy and comfortable, and showing off the cutest little feet around!

Do we launch a Mason Veterinary and Surgical Center FeetFinder? Because his abundant toe beans have us swooning!!! 😍

At Mason Veterinary and Surgical Center, we are proud to be able to offer certain emergency and after-hour surgical procedures for our patients!

Cases such as foreign body surgeries, pyometras, laceration repairs, and other urgent surgical conditions sometimes cannot wait - and we know how overwhelming it can feel to try and navigate those situations.

While we are not a 24/7 hospital and cannot guarantee after-hours availability, there are times when our team is able to stay late or return on closed days to perform urgent surgical procedures on a case-by-case basis.

If your pet is experiencing a possible surgical emergency, we encourage you to call us during regular business hours, so our team can help assess the situation and determine whether your pet may be a candidate for treatment through our clinic, or whether referral to a specialty/emergency facility would be the best recommendation.

We are grateful to have a team willing to go the extra mile for our patients - even after the lights are supposed to be off. 💙

Ever wonder what happens when we ‘take your pet to the back?’ Mainly- it’s just a lot of kisses, treats, love and cuddles- and every once in a while- a vaccine here or there! 😂

This adorable puppy, Zero, just got rescued on Sunday. He was the perfect boy for his exam today, and before vaccines, ended up falling asleep on the table! We felt bad about waking him up for his pokes- but he didn’t even notice them! He’s such a brave boy!!!

Ever wonder where your pets recover after surgery? This is Handsome Hank- who was the absolute bestest boy for his Complete Dental Cleaning and three mass removal surgery yesterday!

When your pet gets dropped off for surgery in the morning, we take them to our cozy kennel area where we make up a space tailored to their needs (soft and comfy beds or hammocks for dogs or cats who can’t have blankets bc they want to eat them 😂). We’ll check in on them regularly, and even turn the lights off if they want to snooze post op! We do everything we can to make your pets stay with us as comfortable and stress free as possible!

We hope Hank would give us a five ⭐️ review if he could! Sending all the positive vibes for quick healing your way, Hank!!! 💙💙💙
