Buddy’s future was once uncertain. After coming from a difficult background and struggling with both medical and behavioral challenges, he was at risk of never finding the stability he needed.

Everything changed when his owner met him at the shelter, Buddy stole her heart instead. Despite limited financial resources, she was determined to give him the loving home he deserved.

Since becoming a Pets In Need client, Buddy has continued to heal with the help of affordable veterinary care, vaccines, treatment for his skin condition, and support resources like donated pet supplies. Over time, he has grown healthier, more comfortable, and more secure with the person who took a chance on him.

Stories like Buddy’s are possible because of a community that believes every pet deserves access to care, regardless of a family’s financial situation. Your support helps us continue providing affordable veterinary services and resources to pets and people who need them most. Donate today: https://pincincinnati.org/donate/

As we approach the end of Mental Health Month and National Pet Month, we’re want to highlight the powerful impact the human–animal bond has on both pets and the people who love them. 💙

Pets provide companionship, comfort, routine, and emotional support in ways that can truly change lives. That’s why our mission goes beyond caring for pets alone, it’s about helping families stay together and ensuring pets can remain healthy, safe, and at home with the people who love and need them most.

We’re proud to be part of this work every day, where veterinary care, compassion, and wellbeing all come together to support both ends of the leash. 🐾

Thank you to Monica Tarant, Innovation Officer with the Joanie Bernard Foundation and Give Them Ten Movement, who stopped by to see the Cat Corner they helped make possible!

This special space in our lobby is designed just for cats and their families, a calm, comfortable room where feline patients can wait for their appointments away from the stress of a typical waiting area. It’s a small change that makes a big difference in creating a more peaceful visit for our cat patients.

While she came to see our cat corner, their contributions also went to help improve cat outcomes by providing subsidy support for pet owners of critically ill cats and those needing surgeries they would otherwise go without.

We’re incredibly grateful for Monica’s visit and for the continued support of Joanie Bernard and the work they do to uplift cats in our community and beyond. 🧡🐾

Such a fun evening at the Joint Women’s Collaborative of Wyoming Foundation’s “Giddy Up and Give Back” dinner last night! 🤠 We’re incredibly honored to have been awarded a grant to support prescription pet food for our clients.
This specialized nutrition makes a real difference, helping pets manage chronic conditions, maintain a healthy weight, and improve their overall quality of life.

Dr. Black and Dr. Lovitt represented Pets In Need at the event and fully embraced the theme. They had a great time and looked the part too!

We are so grateful for the ongoing support from the JWC. Your generosity helps us continue caring for pets and the people who love them. 💙

We will be CLOSED on Monday, May 25 in observance of Memorial Day. 🇺🇸
We hope everyone has a safe and relaxing holiday weekend!

We had a great visit with students from Fayetteville Elementary School, who chose Pets In Need as a recipient of a $1,000 grant through Magnified Giving!

They spent time researching different organizations, putting together presentations, and voting on where the funding would go, and the girls who presented on our behalf did such a thoughtful job. It means a lot to be seen and supported like this, especially by young people who are already showing so much compassion for pets and their people.

Thank you to Magnified Giving, Fayetteville Elementary, and these students for the time, effort, and heart behind this gift 🤍

What a great start to the weekend with UC Serves!

We had an incredible group of volunteers from UC join us at the clinic today, jumping in to support both our clients and our team in so many meaningful ways. From cleaning up the front entrance and sprucing up the lawn and parking lot, to organizing donations and pet food, tackling staff spaces, and even prepping walls for a fresh coat of paint. They truly did it all!

On top of their hard work, some volunteers even made donations after their time here, which speaks volumes about their generosity and heart. We’re so grateful to be part of UC Serves again this year, and we couldn’t have asked for a better group. Thank you for making such a positive impact today! 🐾
