Hello, this is Madison, your new groomer! Here is my bio:

I started as a dog bather in 2021, and it didn’t take me long to realize that I wanted to work with animals forever; I now have over four years of grooming experience. I am committed to quality over quantity, and making sure that every pet in my care is treated like my own.

I love working with curly-coated breeds, and I enjoy adding creative flair through unique, expressive haircuts. My personal dogs have always been seniors, so senior pets are some of my favorites to work with. I also love giving fearful and anxious dogs a positive grooming experience by giving them my undivided attention and patience.

I’m always continuing my education whenever possible, and I’m currently working toward becoming a Canine Esthetician and Master Groomer, with the ultimate goal of giving every dog the highest level of care possible.

This Wednesday 3/11/26 President Trump is expected to make an appearance at Thermo Fischer down on Reading/Galbraith Road sometime in the morning/early afternoon hours. We are unaware of specific road/highway closures at this time. We do recommend if you have an appointment with us or plan to come pickup or drop off that you allow adequate time for arrival to account for route detours, expected road closures and extensive traffic delays.

We are open for normal business hours. While our driveway is plowed, it is still very slippery with the extremely cold temps outside, so please be careful and take extra precaution when pulling into the parking lot. If you need help getting your pets in the building, please do not hesitate to ask a staff member

With Hamilton County now being on a level 3 snow emergency and Mother Nature being in charge for now we’re listening! We will be closed Monday January 26.

UPDATE WE ARE BACK UP AND IN RUNNING ORDER!

We are currently experiencing an internal computer outage in the office. We are unable to access digital client records, schedule appointments or email records. We ask that if you are in need of any of those services and are NON emergent please schedule online at Lewisanimal.com. You can also access and email any records you may need through our Pet Desk app. Our clinic code is 8298 when signing up. For any emergent scheduling needs we can still be reached by phone but anyicipate longer hold times. We apologize for any inconveince this may cause. We are working dilegently on resolving the issue in a timely manner and appreciate your patience with the staff and delays that may incur.

Did you know that heartworms have been diagnosed in all fifty states? Heartworms are transmitted to both dogs and cats through the bite of a mosquito carrying immature worms. A blood test can be performed while you wait, to determine whether or not your pet has been infected with heartworms.

It’s vet tech appreciation week! We couldn’t do what we do without these three amazing and passionate ladies!
