💜 This October, we’re standing together for survivors — and the pets who stand beside them. 🐾
October is Domestic Violence Awareness Month, a time to recognize the courage of survivors, raise awareness about domestic violence, and remind our community that no one should have to face an unsafe situation alone.
For many survivors, a beloved pet is more than a companion — they are family, a source of comfort, and sometimes the one constant in an otherwise frightening situation. The fear of leaving a pet behind or not knowing where they will go can make an already difficult decision even harder.
That’s why Petland Eastgate and Petland Fairfield are proud to support the YWCA’s The Dove House this October.
💜 Throughout the month, we will be collecting pet food and essential pet supplies to help support survivors and their pets.

Every bag of food. Every bag of litter. Every toy. Every donation is a reminder that our community cares.
Together, we can help make sure that when someone finds the courage to seek safety, they don’t have to leave a beloved pet behind.
📍 Donations can be dropped off at Petland Eastgate and Petland Fairfield throughout October.
