If you've been following this page for more than a year, my winter work at my 1915 house in Shaunavon is likely familiar.

I've started setting up a bedroom in the house. Sorry I didn't make the bed... the princesses were sleeping on it.

I painted the trim and stripped the paint on the antique heat register and return vent. Hard to understand why someone would have painted them in the first place.

The last 2 pictures show how terrible the room once was. This abandoned hoarders house sat vacant for 35 years!

I feel like giving up, please help! I am working to install new flooring in my house that I just bought. Swapping out carpet and laminate would for LVP

Having a difficult time installing feeling like i’m going crazy. Planks don’t fit together well at all, seems like these go right to left which is different from every video I’ve watched. Really just need advice of where to go from here.

I’ve had a variety of pincushions in various stages lately. People often ask if I work like an assembly line. 😂🤣😂 That’s a big NOPE! I do what I want in any given moment! I’m sure it’s very ADHDish. I may sit at my machine to quilt a pincushion top, then a minute later, notice I forgot to fill another pincushion. So, I go fill that, then return to my sewing machine and notice a really sweet piece of embroidery that needs to be made into a pincushion RIGHT NOW! I make a new pincushion top, it’s time for lunch, and I can’t really tell you what I’ve accomplished in a morning! What did I sit down to do in the first place??? 😳

OK, this is the ready to fill pile. I did get the beading finished, found their backings, and got them assembled yesterday. After I get a few cups of coffee and remember what I came here for, I’ll get these finished. WHEW!!
