Yesterday, we had a wonderful time celebrating Dr. Kline on his upcoming retirement and sharing stories from his past 18 years of service with Kitty Hawk Animal Hospital. If you would like to drop off a card of appreciation or sign the frame that will be gifted to him, please stop by the hospital before the end of the day on Monday, 15th of June.

It is with a mixture of immense gratitude and fond appreciation for his years of dedicated service and friendship that we share some important news: after 18 wonderful years of dedicated service, Dr. Richard Kline will be retiring from our practice.

Over the course of nearly two decades, Dr. Kline has been so much more than a veterinarian — he has been a trusted partner in the health and happiness of your beloved companions. Whether it was a routine wellness visit, a challenging diagnosis, or a difficult moment when you needed compassion most, Dr. Kline showed up with expertise, patience, and a genuine love for helping his clients.

Dr. Kline has dedicated many years to caring for patients, supporting clients, and mentoring team members throughout his career. His compassion, professionalism, and commitment to veterinary medicine have made a lasting impact on both Kitty Hawk and Turning Stone Animal Hospital, and he will be greatly missed by the entire team.

From now until his official retirement date of June 15th, we will have a frame set up in the lobby at Kitty Hawk Animal Hospital for anyone who wishes to sign it, as well as a box if you wish to drop off a card. As he steps into this well-deserved new chapter, we hope you'll join us in wishing Dr. Kline all the joy, rest, and adventure that retirement has to offer.

Please be assured that your pets will continue to receive the same exceptional level of care you've come to expect, and we hope you'll join us in welcoming a new associate to our team next month. Wow - 10 years has flown by!! We opened our doors in March of 2020, but joined The Chamber once the plans for the second hospital started to materialize. We are grateful for the support and resources that the Chamber provides, and of course for this new community where we have expanded our roots. Here's to 10 more (and beyond)! 🎉
