Turning Stone Animal Hospital

06/10/2026

Yesterday, we had a wonderful time celebrating Dr. Kline on his upcoming retirement and sharing stories from his past 18 years of service with Kitty Hawk Animal Hospital. If you would like to drop off a card of appreciation or sign the frame that will be gifted to him, please stop by the hospital before the end of the day on Monday, 15th of June.

In case you missed the announcement:

Dear Valued Clients,

It is with a mixture of immense gratitude and fond appreciation for his years of dedicated service and friendship that we share some important news: after 18 wonderful years of dedicated service, Dr. Richard Kline will be retiring from our practice.

Over the course of nearly two decades, Dr. Kline has been so much more than a veterinarian — he has been a trusted partner in the health and happiness of your beloved companions. Whether it was a routine wellness visit, a challenging diagnosis, or a difficult moment when you needed compassion most, Dr. Kline showed up with expertise, patience, and a genuine love for helping his clients.

Dr. Kline has dedicated many years to caring for patients, supporting clients, and mentoring team members throughout his career. His compassion, professionalism, and commitment to veterinary medicine have made a lasting impact on both Kitty Hawk and Turning Stone Animal Hospital, and he will be greatly missed by the entire team.

From now until his official retirement date of June 15th, we will have a frame set up in the lobby at Kitty Hawk Animal Hospital for anyone who wishes to sign it, as well as a box if you wish to drop off a card. As he steps into this well-deserved new chapter, we hope you'll join us in wishing Dr. Kline all the joy, rest, and adventure that retirement has to offer.

Please be assured that your pets will continue to receive the same exceptional level of care you've come to expect, and we hope you'll join us in welcoming a new associate to our team next month. As a reminder, your pet's records are accessible by both Kitty Hawk and Turning Stone Animal Hospital to provide you the most convenience when scheduling your pet's next visit. Our team remains fully committed to being there for you and your furry family members every step of the way.

With heartfelt appreciation,

Wow - 10 years has flown by!! We opened our doors in March of 2020, but joined The Chamber once the plans for the second hospital started to materialize. We are grateful for the support and resources that the Chamber provides, and of course for this new community where we have expanded our roots. Here's to 10 more (and beyond)! 🎉

So proud to present Catie with Turning Stone Animal Hospital their 10 year anniversary of membership plaque! They are committed to providing the highest quality care for both their patients and their owners. With advanced technology, expanded onsite resources, and seamless cloud-based referrals between both locations (Kitty Hawk Animal Hospital ) their clients will now have even greater access to specialized care when needed. Congratulations and looking forward to the next 10 years and more!

🎉 Our final 40th anniversary event is tomorrow!

We’re wrapping up our series of celebrations by partnering with Grampie’s Pizza for a community fundraiser supporting three incredible nonprofits: Gizmo’s Gift, Meals on Wheels, and Family Violence Prevention Services.

Join us tomorrow, November 18th, from 11 a.m.–8 p.m., and be sure to mention the fundraiser at checkout so a portion of your purchase goes directly to these organizations.

Thank you for celebrating 40 years with us—and for helping us give back to the community we love. 💙🍕

“Dr. Hooper, your kindness and unwavering care have made you so much more than our veterinarian — you became a trusted part of our family. The way you treated our Trigger, and all of our animals, with such love and respect showed us that your work is more than just a profession.

We shortly moved back to Houston once Trigger died. Since then we have adopted a Golden Retriever and his name is Goose Willis. I think of you guys often and wish my dogs could experience all the love Turning Stone gave.

Congratulations on 40 years, I hope our story lets others know there is a reason this 40 years is so well deserved.

With heartfelt gratitude and love,

The Renken family”

Thank you for sharing, Renken Family ❤️🐾
