Bedtime notes:
1. Riri is sorry, not sorry that she is not down with OPP (other people's puppies) she is very happy with her 4. Who are absolutely gorgeous and looking for families. I wish everyone who reached out a few months ago would contact me. Lol
2. I ended up helping Maze. I supplemented after she nursed and then I helped with potty duty. I also found the temporary velcro collars amd got them on and got weights. New puppies are resting. The OG 4 got their turn with momma and were eating eachothers faces when I left. Nom nom. :)
3. Thank you all for helping me help these 6 babies. I will be researching large breed puppies to make sure im doing all I can. Any advice is welcome. We appreciate you all. ❤️

The last 5 hours have been crazy and beautiful. I thought I would do a run down for anyone who missed it because I know my posts are scattered like my mind. haha I was contacted late this morning that 6 puppies were left at Jourdanton City Hall. They were only 2-3 days old and were going to be euthanized within the hour if they could not find help. My heart immediately wanted to help, but I was worried about the extra finances and obligations on top of our current litters. By that time they were 30 mins from being euthanized and I stopped over thinking and just went with my heart. We can do hard things! The puppies were kindly driven to me. I melted as soon as I saw them, so tiny, most still have umbilical cords. I found out then that momma is a Cane Corso. I gave them quick baths to help get rid of some fleas and tired to see if either of our momma's would take them. Maze being the Rockstar she is stepped in immediately and claimed them as her own. I am trusting the universe and believe we are doing the right thing. I will provide these puppies with the same care, and love that I do our own litters. But that does mean unexpected cost of care (food, vet care, etc). I'm not good at asking for help but its not for me it's for these 6 sweethearts. If anyone would like to make a small donation it would be appreciated. Or please share our puppy posts. We are expecting big babies and like our own litters we are prepared to provide them a loving home until we find good forever families.
