Hey guys! Just wanted to give an update on my schedule. I only have a handful of openings left for the rest of the year!! If you want to get in before I close, reach out asap! The few appointments I have will be gone before the end of the next week I'm sure. I hope to get to see everyone at least once more to say goodbye! ♥️💔🐾

To my Wonderful Customers

After many months of thinking and talking with my family, I have decided to close the salon at the turn of the year. When I say this has been a difficult decision I mean it. There's been many tears, many conversations, and many emotions. I have been grooming for almost 16 years now. I have made so many close relationships with some of you. Some of you have followed me from shop to shop for years now and I can't ever thank you enough for your continued support. I will never be able to explain my gratitude towards you. And to all my "newer" customers that have supported me since I opened up in Churubusco, you all have been so amazing, nice, and welcoming.

I have decided to close shop for a few reasons. After 16 years of grooming it has taken a toll on my body. In the last few years I have had a handful of injuries to my back. Which usually knock me completely down for days. Being a one person shop I don't have anybody there to help lift bigger dogs on the table or even help with simpler things like a large dog refusing his nails being trimmed. 😆 I have struggled with nonstop pain in my hands and wrists also. I at some point have to think about my future. I'm in my 30s, my kids are still young and I want to continue to be active with them. Which brings me to reason # 2. My kids/family. I have the opportunity to stay home and take care of the house and children. Nothing in life will make me happier than taking advantage of the time I'm given with them. Having three children, they all keep me busy and on my toes with sports and playing Mom Taxi. 😆 Also, some of my long term clients will know my Husband and I have lost a LOT of family in the last handful of years. We don't take any time we get with family for granted anymore.

I will miss you guys. So much. I can't even put into words how bittersweet this decision was to make. I have been so proud to be a business owner. And the connections I have made with you all I will cherish forever. I will miss your pups sooooo very much. They all own a little place in my heart. I hope to see each one of them at least one or two more times before I close. And you better believe they are getting all the cuddles and kisses.
