Hey everyone,

Even though we’re currently sick and our intake is temporarily closed, the animals already in our care still depend on us every single day. Their medical care doesn’t stop, and right now we’re at the vet making sure our babies get everything they need to stay healthy.

We currently have 4 puppies at the vet today, and our bill is continuing to grow. We are asking for help from our amazing supporters to help us get this balance knocked down so we can focus on getting these babies healthy, finding them loving homes, and working toward reopening our intake when we’re able.

Every donation, no matter the amount, makes a difference and goes directly toward the care of the animals who need us most.

🐶 Adoption Spotlight! 🐶

The adorable puppy pictured is currently looking for a forever home! If you’ve been thinking about adding a furry family member to your life, this sweet baby may be the perfect fit. Please message us for more information about adopting.

Thank you to everyone who continues to support A to Z Rescue through donations, shares, prayers, and adoptions. We couldn’t do this without you and your kindness means the world to these animals.

❤️ Please donate, share, and help us continue saving lives. ❤️

Hey everyone, I know I’ve been MIA recently. I spent all day today in the hospital dealing with some health issues.

As of right now, since I run everything for the rescue by myself, I have made the very hard decision to temporarily close the rescue until further notice.

Please know this was not an easy choice. We still have many animals here that need daily care, love, supplies, and forever homes. Right now my main focus has to be on getting my health under control so I can eventually come back stronger for these babies.

I want to thank every single person who has supported us, donated, shared posts, adopted, fostered, transported, or simply cheered us on. You all have helped save so many lives alongside me.

While we are temporarily closed to new intakes, the animals currently in our care still depend on us every single day. If anyone would like to help by sharing adoptable animals, donating supplies, sponsoring food, or helping us find forever homes, it would mean so much during this difficult time.

Most importantly, please keep us in your prayers and send good thoughts our way. I appreciate everyone’s patience, understanding, and support more than you know. ❤️

Yesterday was definitely super eventful. 🥺

While we were in Sevierville getting dogs and cats fixed, me, mom, and Aspyn stopped at a couple stores. As we pulled into one of them, we spotted an injured baby goose laying there suffering.

Now listen to this mess… the sheriff’s office and TWRA had BOTH supposedly been called the day before to pick this baby up — but nobody ever came. They just left this poor baby there hurt and suffering. 😞

I contacted both of them again and got no response, so I took matters into my own hands. I found a wildlife rehabber in Sevierville, carefully wrapped the baby goose up, and drove him straight there to get help.

This poor baby’s leg bone was completely broken and sticking out. 💔 Come to find out, he had been hit by a car the day before.

Sometimes rescue work is placed right in front of you for a reason. No matter how busy the day is, you stop and help when you can.

Thankfully this sweet baby is now safe and finally getting the care he deserves. Please keep him in your prayers. 🪿❤️

Tomorrow is spay and neuter day for some precious babies 🐾❤️

We are heading out first thing in the morning to get 4 kitties and 1 doggy fixed! This is one of the biggest ways we can help stop the overflow of unwanted animals and prevent more babies from ending up abandoned, sick, or in shelters.

If anyone would like to sponsor an animal tomorrow, we would be so thankful for the help. Every dollar truly makes a difference for these babies.

🐱 Each kitty is $50 to fix
🐶 We are also getting one sweet doggy fixed

Unfortunately, the vet only accepts cash payments, so we are trying to gather the funds before tomorrow morning.

Please share if you can’t donate. Spaying and neutering saves lives and helps us continue helping the unwanted and forgotten animals that need us most. Thank you all for always supporting our rescue and these precious babies 🩷🐾

These precious kittens were found living inside an electrical box, trying their best to survive in dangerous conditions no baby should ever have to endure. Cold, scared, hungry, and surrounded by so many risks, these little ones desperately needed help.

Thankfully, a caring family reached out instead of turning a blind eye, and because of that, these babies are now SAFE. We want to give a huge thank you to the family who contacted us and trusted us to help these sweet kittens. People like you truly make a difference in the lives of animals who have no voice. 🐾

Sadly, situations like this are becoming more and more common. Please, PLEASE spay and neuter your animals. There are simply not enough homes, rescues are overflowing, and innocent babies continue to suffer because of accidental litters. Spaying and neutering saves lives, prevents suffering, and helps stop the cycle of homeless animals struggling to survive in unsafe places like this electrical box.

Tonight these babies are warm, fed, loved, and safe. That is what rescue is all about. ❤️

Thank you to everyone who continues to support us, share our posts, donate, foster, adopt, and help us save lives one animal at a time.

Some stories just hit you right in the heart… and Luna Sky’s story is one we will never forget. 💔➡️❤️

This sweet mama dog and her tiny 4 week old babies were facing euthanasia. Their lives were hanging by a thread, and they had no idea if anyone was coming for them. But thankfully, so many amazing people stepped up to make sure this little family got their second chance.

Today, Luna Sky and her precious babies are SAFE. No more fear. No more wondering if tomorrow will come. Just full bellies, warm beds, and people who are going to love and protect them. 🐾

We want to say THANK YOU from the bottom of our hearts to every single person who played a part in saving this family. From the people in Memphis who helped get them to safety, to the transporters, supporters, rescuers, and everyone who shared, prayed, donated, and cared — this rescue took a village.

Because of all of you, Luna Sky gets to raise her babies surrounded by love instead of spending their final moments scared and alone. That is something truly beautiful.

This is why rescue matters. This is why we keep going, even on the hardest days. Because every life deserves a chance. ❤️

Welcome to safety, Luna Sky and babies. Your new chapter starts now.

Cats and kittens everywhere… PLEASE fix your animals. We are overflowing!!!!!

To start the day off, let’s just say it has been very hectic and very wild.

This morning I had to get Aspyn to school by 8:15 for her preschool graduation at 9:00. In between all of that, I was planning to take a pregnant cat that was brought to us last night to the vet. I got her loaded into the carrier and started heading that way when she suddenly went into labor in the car. So I turned around, rushed back home, and helped her deliver her babies before hurrying to the school just in time to watch Aspyn graduate. ❤️

After graduation, I asked Aspyn what she wanted to do, and she wanted to go eat at Country Kitchen and try to save a cat she had seen there before. So that’s exactly what we did. While we were there, we realized there wasn’t just one cat… there were 3-4 adult cats and a whole bunch of kittens. We spoke with the workers and owner, and they would like for us to help trap them and find them safe, loving homes.

Over the next couple of weeks, our goal is to trap at least 15 cats and kittens, but we are going to need the community’s help to make this happen. We were able to catch one kitten today and bring it back safely to the rescue, but there are still many more out there needing help.

And the day still isn’t over… we also had 3 more kittens that came in this evening.

To say today has been busy is an understatement. Rescue never stops, but neither does our love for these animals. Please spay and neuter your pets. The overpopulation crisis is heartbreaking, and rescues everywhere are drowning.

If anyone would like to help by donating supplies, food, or helping with vet costs, please reach out. Every little bit truly helps us continue saving lives. ❤️

🚨 We Need Your Help 🚨

In just the last 2 weeks, we have taken 10 animals to the vet, and our vet bill is quickly piling back up. And as I’m typing this, we are back at the vet again with a surrendered kitty who is bleeding from her ears. 💔

This sweet girl’s name is Miss Kitty 🐾 and she could really use all the prayers, good vibes, and positive thoughts right now that nothing major is wrong with her.

We use Church Hill Veterinary Hospital if anyone would like to help directly with A to Z Rescue’s vet balance or help with Miss Kitty’s care.

It’s been a busy week here at the Rescue! Today we had our farrier come out and give everybody a pedicure(thank you Robert Moore), and we had some wonderful helpers here brushing everyone down and making sure all the animals got plenty of love and attention.

Days like today remind us how much teamwork and care goes into rescue life. We are so thankful for everyone who helps us keep these babies happy, healthy, and feeling their best. ❤️🐴🐐🐶
