Friday morning we took my client and her dog Tony into Lowe’s for the first time. Actually instead of being in the cart Tony walks very well next to it. Time to go into more stores now. Way to go Tony.

Finally back out on the trail thanks to the overcast. We will be doing more trail hikes as the weather starts getting cooler but thinking about doing one soon if I can get some come with dogs early in the morning or early evening.

Last week I was at the airport training a couple service dogs and was teaching both Finn and Dax how to use the escalator. They did this for the first time today and mastered it with just a couple of rides. Notice yes they both have shoes on that helps protect the feet on the escalators and also when we walked in it was hot on the top floor parking lot.

Working with Nyssa today inside Lowe’s and my client Sairane has her little dog Dior in the carrier. She’s actually going to be flying to Brazil soon and we are training him Dior to be good in the carrier. He is not her service dog like Nyssa so he will also be flying but unlike Nyssa who is trained to lay on the floor he will be going along but must stay in the pet carrier. Just like the other day I was training a few dogs at Orlando International Airport we saw a couple of pet dogs in carriers.

My good friend Victoria Smith with the Take the Lead Dog Training and I were evaluating a dog at the shelter today named Cyrus. Sweet boy.
