Traveling to Mexico with your dog? Don’t forget this new requirement! 🐶✈️
Effective August 3, 2026, dogs traveling from the U.S. to Mexico must have a New World Screwworm (NWS) Inspection Certificate completed by a USDA-accredited veterinarian within 5 days before entering Mexico.
The good news? We can help! 🩺 Our USDA-accredited veterinarians can assist with the required documentation for international pet travel.
📅 If you’re traveling soon, schedule your appointment in advance!
🐱 Traveling with a cat? Cats currently do not require the NWS Inspection Certificate, but requirements can change, so be sure to check the latest guidelines before traveling.
