Cheers to 23 years with Cora! This female black crowned night heron has been with us since 2003, and she has helped us teach visitors of all ages in her time here. We have a new ‘den’ opening this Friday! Urban Oasis will allow students and visitors of all ages to learn about mammals like raccoons, their role and importance in our coastal ecosystem, and increase awareness and appreciation for wildlife that live alongside humans in urban environments.
