Some pets have names that you can't share around polite company. 😅

These are two of them, and we hope y'all find their story as funny as we do. 😂 And before you ask, no, these aren't feeders for the snakes. They've probably got nematodes or something tbh.

We've found that a lot of folks who get into reptiles end up appreciating rodents and keeping them as pets, too. They're pretty darn endearing!

Nerding out on the latest book haul we got from Tinley. Works like the late John Berry's are so helpful as we develop new tests, believe it or not! Knowing how a morph functions in breeding can point us in the right direction for finding the causative mutation, and knowing that morph's history makes finding the originators easier!

Reptile enthusiasts tend to be happier when herping or handling their animals than they are socializing with humans... And we get that. 😂😛 But it's also easy to take the wealth of knowledge gained over years of snake breeding for granted if it isn't written down somewhere. Morphs die out with their last keepers, and knowledge of a morph's history can get lost in the sands of time without those doing the work of documenting it.

Shout-out to Eslin of Exotic Fire Hogs for selling these at the show. All proceeds went directly to John Berry's family, and we are proud to have a piece of his work here with us!
