Fortified K9 was built on a simple belief:

Every dog deserves the opportunity to reach their full potential.

Our mission is to help owners build stronger bonds with their dogs through education and clear communication.

Everything we do starts there. 🤍

Training should never end with a dog that only listens to us.

Success is sending home a team that understands each other.

Dogs are our life partners and deserve to be treated as such.

Your dog’s training shouldn’t look exactly like someone else’s.

Our job is to meet the dog in front of us and build a plan around who they are.

Different goals have different plans; different personalities do too.

Whether it’s a puppy, a family pet, or a future working dog, we believe every dog deserves thoughtful training that respects their temperament and helps them become the best version of themselves.

We don’t believe in trying to make a dog fit a certain mold or training timeline.

For us, obedience has never been the end goal.

The goal is helping dogs and owners experience more of life together.

You shouldn’t have to choose between taking your dog and having a stress free experience.

There are no shortcuts to a truly reliable dog.

Our responsibility is to give every team the tools to keep growing during training and long after training ends.

The process matters; so does your progress.

Every dog learns at a different pace.

Progress isn’t always linear, and no trainer can promise perfection.

Our job is to be honest about what’s possible, create a plan that fits the dog in front of us, and give owners the tools to continue building skills.

Not every dog can achieve every goal, and that’s ok.

That’s what Fortified K9 has always been about.

Helping dogs reach their full potential while giving owners the knowledge, confidence, and support to enjoy every step of the journey together.

We believe training should strengthen the relationship just as much as the skills they learn.

Fun fact about B&T Chief - he is completely deaf!

This has made our training approach a bit different but all the food luring and learning has been the same. Just instead of transitioning him to verbal cues, we’re using hand signals!

It has been so awesome getting to let this happy boy run the farm knowing he now has a recall and knows to check in with us 🥹

I’m so proud of everything he has learned already!

Go home weekend for Allie girl!!!

Go Home Weekend is one of my favorite parts of the entire process.

Watching owners see everything their dog has learned is exciting, but what I love even more is watching them realize they’re capable of doing it too.

Our job isn’t just to train dogs. It’s to teach people how to continue building on that foundation long after they leave.

This weekend was all about setting Allie and her family up for success, and I can’t wait to watch them continue growing together. 🤍🐾
