CGA D2 Deuces Wild

10/18/2026

❤️🐴 THIS is what makes CGA so AMAZING! 🐴❤️

Sometimes we sit back and think about just how incredible the California Gymkhana Association really is!

This weekend, our little D2 Deuces Wild district welcomed 45 riders for an amazing weekend of horses, competition, friendships, and memories!

But here's what makes that number even more special...

Our little district has maybe 10 members, yet we had 45 riders show up to support us! And the majority of those riders traveled an HOUR OR MORE just to spend their weekend riding with us!

Think about that for a minute. People loading up their horses, packing their trailers, driving an hour or more, and choosing to spend their entire weekend at our little district!

And it doesn't stop there. So many of these same people don't just come to ride. They jump in and HELP! They set poles, move equipment, work the arena, help keep things running, and step up wherever they're needed.

THAT is what makes CGA so special!

It's not just about ribbons, fast times, buckles, or awards. It's about a community of people who genuinely love this sport and support one another, regardless of what district they call home.

It's about the friendships, the laughter, the kids growing up together, and the people who become family somewhere along the way.

We may only have a handful of members in our district, but when show weekend rolls around, we have an entire community standing behind us! ❤️

To every single rider and family who traveled those miles to spend the weekend with us, THANK YOU! You have no idea how much your support means to our little district.

And to everyone who jumps in to lend a hand without ever being asked, you are the reason this organization continues to be something so special.

45 riders. A little district of 10. Countless miles traveled. And one AMAZING gymkhana family! 🐴❤️

This is why we love CGA. It's so much more than just riding horses. It's the PEOPLE who make it what it is! ❤️

So....Who’s riding with us?! 🙋‍♀️🐎

09/26/2026

09/25/2026

🚨 Well… Facebook has entered its “pay to play” era. 😂🙄

Apparently, Facebook is now limiting some business Pages to just TWO link posts per month unless we choose to pay for Meta Verified/Meta’s paid business features.

TWO. LINKS. A. MONTH. 😳

For a small organization/business that uses Facebook to share things like entry forms, membership links, schedules, sign-ups and important information, that makes things a little interesting. 🤦‍♀️

So going forward, you may see us get a little more creative with how we share links—putting them in the comments, directing you to our website, or telling you where to find them instead of putting them directly in every post.

Because apparently sharing information is now a premium feature. 😂💸

So if you see us say “LINK IN THE COMMENTS!” …now you know why!

Thanks for rolling with us while we navigate Facebook’s newest adventure. 🤠🩷
