Our calves ship out on the 30th and then these bred back three year olds will come home and be quieted back down just in time to hit the bred cow sale at Western Livestock in December! They spent their two year old calving season being walked through on foot and horse back so their quiet, gentle and have already proven to raise great calves!
All the hard work has already been done! 😎

Watching him move from a “c**t” to a HORSE is so much fun. He has so much potential for a big future and he’s becoming one of my favorites to ride!

Hudson the Bay has sure finished out to be one heck of a ranch horse and I am so proud to have him around here!

Layne finally ordered a pair of “meta” (knock offs) glasses so expect to be seeing a LOT more of our horses -and Layne’s I guess- daily lives around here! 😎

It's been about 8 years since I've gotten CONSISTENT saddle time, but now that our girls are both old enough to entertain themselves and watch after each other, I've never been so happy to be on the back of such a nice horse. ❤️
Mama got to use Powder for preconditioning on Tuesday, and I think this picture Layne snapped speaks for itself.

Unfortunately, for me, we will be privately offering Powder this fall. Keep an eye our page for when he's officially available, should be reasonably soon! 🤙🏻

Kimes is another c**t we’ve kind of been keeping on the down low.
He is turning into one bad to the bone little horse. He has quickly turned into a gelding that anyone that knows how to ride can ride.
He’s sure enough following in his sire’s tracks and is going to make a wicked rope horse on the heel end, breakaway or calf horse. Layne hasn’t quite yet made up his mind which way he wants to finish him out but whatever they decide is going to be fire. 🔥

He is the sweetest boy in our string, and maybe even the most loving gelding we’ve ever owned. 🤎🖤🤎🖤

But honestly, we’ve had a LOT of super kind horses but Hudson is just one of them that wants love and attention the second he sees you coming. 🤎🖤
