Info for the winter series happening at Choctaw Roundup Club beginning Oct 1st! We are excited for this one. It will be a $2500 added money finals; $1000 in the open race (BBR Sanctioned/Approved) for anyone that enters and $1500 in the qualifier sidepot no entry fee race for those who enter and have run at 4 of the 6 races! A chance to run at $2500 total. Added money will be 100% payout; race fees to SGP $1.00 per run; $1.00 per run to the tractor driver. Thank you to Advent Mechanical, Jason Nutt of Farmers and Ranchers Insurance of Prague and Adjust Chiropractic for your sponsorship!!! We will have an award series as well $25.00 Nomination fee; must run at 4 of the 6 races to qualify for awards; points maintained from each race. Buckle or buckle cuff to the champion of each D of the final race! It will be a great end to the fall season, get all your BBR qualifiers in for 2026.
We will have an open class; a youth 17 & Under class, a Senior 50+ class and you don't have to enter the open to run in the youth or Senior.... you can roll your times to the open if you want.
We will also offer a buy back option; if you run and hit a barrel, you can have 1 buy back option per horse to run at the end of the race! We are excited for this series and are looking forward to a good one. Each Thursday Exh will start at 6pm, and end at 7pm. So there will be a 6pm; and 630pm sheet. I will reserve a very few slots for on site exh to occur after the 630pm page. We will start the race on time at 730pm each night!!!

I was going to wait to list the winners of the playday until we had the awards, but since several are asking about them I thought I would go ahead and post.
LEADLINE - 1st Everleigh Broudy; 2nd Sterling Miesse; 3rd Kenna Childars.
PEEWEE - 1st Brantly Tarrant; 2nd Amailia Proffitt; 3rd Chaurley Tarrent; 4th Austin Parnell.
JRS had several, but none of them met the 5 playday participation.
SRS OVER 19 - 1st Nikki Miesse; 2nd Farron Belshe
We had a lot of entries each week and thank everyone for coming. As soon as I get the buckles and other awards in I will schedule a time to have everyone come to the clubhouse and enjoy a quick lunch and award ceremony!

🐎 CRUC WORK DAY 🐎

Choctaw Round Up Club is having a work day this Saturday, September 19th, starting at 9:00 AM.

We’ve got a few things to knock out:
• Remove T-posts in the E parking area
• Pick up trash
• Take down and clean up banners
• General cleanup and whatever else needs attention

If you have a tractor with a bucket that you’re willing to bring, that would be a HUGE help!

And because who doesn’t love a free shirt… 👕
We have 6 CRUC shirts available for volunteers who show up to help. One shirt per volunteer, while supplies last.

Come lend a hand, get a little dirty, and help us get the grounds cleaned up!

See you Saturday!
