🐴📚 Horse Powered Reading is in FULL SWING! 📚🐴

Today’s readers are rounding up their skills for a game all about WORD HERDS! 🤠

Just like horses are grouped into herds based on their needs, ages, and abilities, words can be grouped together, too! We’re talking about beginning sounds, ending sounds, and middle sounds. Words that share the same sounds belong in the same herd! 🐎🔤

By joining the Reading Herd supported by “Horse Powered Reading”, we make learning an adventure by combining literacy activities with the magic of four-legged companions. Because sometimes, the best way to spark a love of reading is to step outside the classroom and into the barn! ❤️

📖🐴 Have a young reader who would love to learn alongside a four-legged friend?

Contact us today to learn more about Horse Powered Reading at Holly’s Place Equestrian Center and discover a whole new way to explore the joy of reading!

Today we hosted a really great group of homeschool families from the local area!

They were able to tour the farm, help catch tack, and groom, the horses, and then the best of all was plenty of ride time! The kids enjoyed time with Jackie, Danny, Hercules and Knoxville!

A huge huge, thank you to all of our volunteers that came and helped today! We couldn’t do events like this without you!
