Last but NEVER least are our two outstanding receptionist! These ladies are the front line of LWAH and we could not function without them!

Tasha has the biggest heart of anyone we have ever met! Since coming to LWAH she has brought nothing but joy, support, and love to our staff and clients. Her passion for animals is out of this world and she is always the kindest person to help you with anything and everything. Fun fact her kitty pictured with her LOVES to go camping with the crew!

Mel has grown in strides since joining our team and is always up to learn more about the field in order to help out clients. She always greets everyone with an upbeat, heartful, and understanding mindset! With two fur-babies of her own she uses her experience as a cat mom to be there when needed, as well as many other family pets including Hoppy House Rescue!

We can't thank you both enough for all that you do!

We hope everyone had an amazing Vet Tech Week and felt as special as you all are!

To continue celebrating Veterinary Technician Week today's highlights are Morgan (and Smudge) and Mariah!! These two are our newest members of our work crew and have quickly become invaluable members of the team!

Morgan has been in the field for 5 years and with her favorite aspect of the field being patient advocacy your pet(s) could not be in better hands! Her personality lights up the clinic every time she walks through the door and we could not be more thankful for her!

Mariah has also been in the field for a bit and came to us from a corporate clinic in Dallas Texas! While private practice is just a hair different she has loved the changes and working with all her amazing new coworkers ;) If you have a spicy chihuahua or if you just wanna chat her up in Spanish this is your (well our) girl!

Our next two highlights are Megan and Cindy!

Megan, an invaluable member of our team, has been around for the past 3 years! Her compassion for our patients is outmatched by very few and she loves to keep us on our toes daily. Fun fact she kickstarted our team book club!! She views this career just like Forest Gump would say "Life was like a box of chocolates. You never know what you're gonna get."

Cindy has been around in Veterinary Medicine for the past 26 years and landed with us only a few short years ago! She is the go to for dental health in our fur babies and overall just loves health and wellness, making her a great educator!! We love you Cindy!

For todays highlights we have Heather and MaryJo!

Heather has been with LWAH for 4 years and a CVT (certified veterinary technician) for the past 14 years! She is the lady that makes sure we are all safe and sound by following OSHA . As well as "HEATHHHERRR come fix the computer please" , IT person. WE LOVE YOU HEATHER! She is pictured with her Lab R***r.

MaryJo has been an important part of our team for eight years. After spending two years working in the kennels, she moved to the clinic and has served as a veterinary assistant for the past six years. She also oversees our social media and new client relations. With a special interest in surgery, MaryJo is always eager to scrub in and assist the doctor. She is pictured with her dog Hudson. "Watch out, 'cause here we come... Too kick off the week we have Kaylin with Scout her black lab and Amanda with Hazel and Cami!

Kaylin has been with LWAH for 14 years and is the top dog around here making sure we all stay in line, keeping us stocked up on all the supplies, and overall just being AMAZING!

Amanda put down her roots in LWAH 11 years ago and is the lady behind making sure everyone has the food they need, running our online pharmacy and just a few administration duties as well!

We wouldn't be able to do it without these girls so THANK YOU from the bottom of our hearts!!!

ITS NATIONAL VET TECH WEEK! We wan't to send a HUGE THANK YOU to all of our techs all over. This field is impossible without the work we all put in everyday (and that's an understatment)
