🎃🍬 Halloween Treats Are for Humans—Not Our Pets! 🐾

With Halloween just around the corner, those bowls of candy can be very tempting to our four-legged friends. Unfortunately, some Halloween treats can be dangerous—even life-threatening—for pets.

🍫 Chocolate can be toxic to dogs and cats.
🍇 Raisins and grapes can cause serious health problems in dogs.
🍬 Sugar-free candy and gum may contain xylitol, which is extremely toxic to dogs.
🍭 Candy wrappers can also cause choking or intestinal blockages if swallowed.

Keep the candy bowl safely out of reach and make sure children know not to share their treats with their furry friends. 🐶🐱

If you think your pet has eaten something they shouldn’t have, contact your veterinarian or an emergency veterinary clinic right away. Don’t wait for symptoms to appear.
