We just finished up a wonderful and productive sheepdog training clinic with the amazing and accomplished Scott Glen. He provided useful advice for improving our handling and communication with our dogs. It was a soggy four days, but a rainbow peeked out occasionally. Thanks so much to Scott for all his helpful insights, and to Katy Deardorff my super hard working friend and co host!!

The date has been changed for the herding seminar by Kyle Trumbull-Clark to May 24, 2025. Please see the attached flier for information. Do you need a wider outrun? Better lift? A straighter fetch line? Get the sheep tighter around the post? A better line to the “Y” chute without losing your sheep? These will all be covered! This seminar is designed to help handlers better understand how to handle the course in order to get better scores. We will also work on the working relationship each handler has with their dog.
Over the last 40 years, Kyle and her dogs have earned 4 AKC Herding Championships, 2 dogs received Herding Excellent titles, and 4 dogs earned ASCA Working Trial Championships. She has worked with Aussies, Border Collies, Corgis, Belgian Tervurens, and Belgian Sheepdogs. Working stock with dogs has been her passion, and she wants to help pass that on to you!
