🐾🤣 Current Shelter Status: We Are Being Held Hostage by Dogs Who Need Homes 🤣🐾

Our adoptable dogs have filed several formal complaints, including:

🐶 “My roommate snores.”
🐶 “The food service is acceptable, but I demand a couch.”
🐶 “I was promised belly rubs and a family.”
🐶 “I am willing to exchange unlimited love for snacks.”

These furry freeloaders are currently accepting applications for:
✔️ Professional treat dispensers
✔️ Ball throwers
✔️ Bed sharers
✔️ Full-time admirers

Some come with zoomies. Some come with wiggle butts. Some have mastered the art of looking deeply offended when you stop petting them. All come with enough love to make your heart explode. ❤️

👀 "Um... excuse me? I noticed there's a family in there, and I was wondering if you might be accepting applications for a best friend?" 🐾

Moose and Sambar were caught peeking through the window, just checking out what life on the other side looks like. A cozy couch. A loving family. Maybe a tennis ball or two. Nothing extravagant. ❤️

They're not asking for much—just a place to belong, someone to greet with a wagging tail, and a forever home where they can be part of the everyday moments that make life special.

Until then, they'll keep looking in, dreaming about the day they won't have to.

The Chino Valley Animal Shelter would like to extend our sincere thanks to Samantha and Rolling Hills Stables & Canine Resort for their generous sponsorship of the 2nd Annual Rowyn's Ripple.
Through their kindness, adoption fees for all dogs currently in our shelter are being covered, helping more pets find the loving homes they deserve. Their support honors Rowyn's legacy in a truly meaningful way and creates opportunities for countless shelter dogs and families.

For those who know me, you know what a difficult journey Rowyn’s loss has been. This June marks one year since her presence left our home, and not a day goes by that she isn’t missed.

In honor of her, we’re continuing what we hope becomes a lasting tradition with the 2nd Annual Rowyn’s Ripple – Empty the Shelter Event. ❤️

Every dog currently available for adoption through Chino Valley Animal Shelter will have their adoption fees fully covered through the month of June until they find their forever homes. In addition, every adopter will receive 3 free nights of boarding at Rolling Hills Stables & Canine Resort.

Rowyn gave us nearly 10 years of unconditional love, loyalty, and joy. We were some of the lucky ones. Now, we hope to create ripples in her honor by helping other families find that same kind of love.

🚨 WANTED FOR CRIMES AGAINST PERSONAL SPACE 🚨

Our shelter currently has kittens available for adoption… and these tiny felons are out of control. 🐾

Charges include:
• Stealing hearts 💘
• Screaming for food like they’ve never eaten before 🍗
• Knocking things off tables for absolutely no reason 🙃
• Random acts of violence against shoelaces 👟
• Breaking into zoomies at 2am 🌪️

Despite their criminal records, they are extremely cute and may be eligible for immediate release into your home.

Warning: adopting a kitten may result in:
✔️ uncontrollable laughter
✔️ fur on literally everything
✔️ being supervised while using the bathroom
✔️ falling completely in love

This Memorial Day, we pause to honor and remember the brave men and women who gave their lives in service to our country.

Their courage, sacrifice, and unwavering devotion to our nation will never be forgotten. Because of their selflessness, we enjoy the freedoms we hold dear each day.

As we gather with family, friends and furry companions, we reflect with gratitude on the heroes who made the ultimate sacrifice in defense of our country.
