I absolutely hate to bring upsetting news to our waiting list, and it is with great disappointment that I have to announce that BOTH Crimson and Carolina have absorbed their litters 😢😞
Their pregnancies did not seem to be moving along, not showing the normal signs we expect to see. So ultrasounds were performed again and it was clear, the pregnancies were no longer viable.
The girls are both doing fine, thankfully ❤️
With it happening to both of them, I will be doing some investigating to see if there is an underlying cause, ie bacterial infection, something environmental possibly, or otherwise. It's not an uncommon thing to happen, but to have both do it has me scratching my head and a bit suspicious as to wether it's something that needs attention or just a very unlucky fluke.
But we will get it figured out and will try again in a few months.
For our waiting list, we would be looking at litters being born around November, with successful pregnancies.
